Favorite cooking sites!
Hello everyone!
Chris from Washington here. I'm interested in knowing what the favorite cooking-related websites, recipe sites or searches, or e-news letters of interested posters.
I have been a member of a wonderful e-newsletter called Recipe du Jour. Rich Rowand provides a recipe every day, great commentary, and daily SONG lyrics (hey! it wortks here!!)! He's a Viet Nam vet who also sometimes posts about that time in his life. Search them out and sign up if you want to get involved with a great guy, his family, grown kids, his life and times. He's an over-50 delight!
Thanks!!!

I am new to EONS and new to this group. I love to cook, read cookbooks like some people read novels. Don't cook as much as I did but still like to talk about cooking, recipes, techniques, tips, etc. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing my interest in food and cooking here.
Norwegian Recipes
Hi, This is Dianne, Does anyone share my Norwegian heritage and do you have any traditional recipes that can be duplicated with our ingredients in the USA. Would like to have any other recipes also.
Holiday dinners
The winter holidays are upon us, and everyone knows that means holiday dinners and parties. What are you cooking this year? What's different from the traditional menu? Share your secrets for making the meal perfect -- even if your family isn't.

intro
Hi, I'm holtz ( I won't bore you with the history of that name). I live on the east coast and after 30 years in the shoe business and 23 in autos, I cook to keep my wife from planting the stove!
Slow Cookers
I recently purchased a slow cooker as well as a cookbook for this device. I've tried a few recipes (the easier ones), but I'm looking for a few killler healthy recipes to ween myself off of myy microwave. Tasty beef, lamb or chicken would be my preference. Any ideas should have accompanying recipe and/or source attached. Thanks in advance.

Hi, My name is Dianne, I am a new member. I just discovered the site and love it. I love to cook. My entire family, men including are great cooks. You can tell just by looking at all of us. We collect cookbooks and recipes from all over. My Father is Norwegian and I am interested in their culture. I am from Louisiana and cook a lot of Cajun dishes. Hope to gather lots of new recipes. Dianne
