The Democratic Party has reaffirmed once again that they are the Party of Death. Below is the voting record of how the Congress voted on the issue of tabling the Nelson Amendment. No. 2962 which would prohibit the use of federal funds for the purpose of abortion.

Note that only ONE Republican (Olympia Snowe) voted “yea” and every other Republican voted “nay”. Only six Democrats voted not to table the Amendment.

This simply emphasizes their intent to include abortion in the health care bill from the beginning, otherwise why stop an amendment that would prohibit it?

The Power Of Prayer

Someone has said if Christians really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. Did you know that during World War II there was an adviser to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every day at a prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England , its people and peace?

There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America . If you would like to participate: Every evening at 9:00 pm Eastern Time (8:00 PM Central) (7:00 PM Mountain) (6:00 PM Pacific), stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States , our troops, our citizens, and for a return to a Godly nation. The U.N. has once again emphasized the fact that the United States needs to have nothing to do with the organization. The 53-member Commission on Narcotic Drugs — the central policy-making body of the UN on drug-related issues — elected Iran chairman of its next session.

Iran, one of the most extreme and dangerous regimes in the world, already holds three other positions in the UN. Iran is the

1. President of the executive board of the UN Development Program for 2009.
2. President of the executive board of the UN Population Fund for 2009.
3. Vice-chairman of the UN General Assembly’s Committee on Information for 2009-2010.

This new seat was awarded in spite of the fact that there are three UN sanctions against Iran for its nuclear program. So how do they continually to be awarded position of power in decision-making?

The UN is a joke and a threat to democracy and human rights everywhere, regardless of the front they portray before the world. In fact, during the 20070-2008 session, Iran was the vice-chairman of the UN Disarmament Commission that deals with nuclear and conventional arms reduction and non-proliferation. Now that is insanity at its worst.

The UN has its own agenda and it is not in accordance with the commonly held beliefs of the United States. To me that is enough to constitute the withdrawal of the US from the UN and that their headquarters be removed from New York City to a foreign country.

THE SNOWMAN…AND MODERN LIBERALISM

“The Factor” of December 7, 2009 showed a CBS program clip. The clip featured “Frosty the Snowman” trashing the whole concept of the figure being a moral happy symbol of the Christmas (aka winter) season. Frosty had a porn collection and made other inappropriate offensive comments. What viewers must understand is that the modern liberal is a strident member of the secular socialist church. This sort of ugly distortion is wholly intentional.
The modern liberal (aka secular socialist) detests morals, detests people of faith, detests even the intact moral family. Their game is NO boundaries (moral or ethical)…that is how they speak, they act, they vote, they believe. Truth is not a goal and morality simply an obstacle to their total control of your life. They are happiest when they can drain the shame and respect from a culture. Its what they always do.
We, of course, are the low life contented people of faith trying to raise our children away from the harsh secular poison (at least till senior high). The modern liberal prefers vivid sex programs for pre-teens and now this.
We, of course, “just don’t understand”. We are just “way too rigid, way too judgmental” they say.
We understand perfectly and must continue to reject the angry secular socialists (aka democrats, liberals, progressives, yada yada).
Yes, modern liberalism is a mental disorder.

WASHINGTON – The Environmental Protection Agency has concluded greenhouse gases are endangering people's health and must be regulated, signaling that the Obama administration is prepared to contain global warming without congressional action if necessary.

EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson scheduled a news conference for later Monday to announce the so-called endangerment finding, officials told The Associated Press, speaking privately because the announcement had not been made.

The finding is timed to boost the administration's arguments at an international climate conference — beginning this week — that the United States is aggressively taking actions to combat global warming, even though Congress has yet to act on climate legislation.

Under a Supreme Court ruling, the so-called endangerment finding is needed before the EPA can regulate carbon dioxide and five other greenhouse gases released from power plants, factories and automobiles under the federal Clean Air Act.

After watching an old John Wayne movie, “McLintock!”, I was impressed with the way things have changed in Hollywood as well as America. If you remember the movie, John Wayne is pushed around for years by his wife, Maureen O’Hara. One friend advised him, “She’s been riding herd on you for two years now”. Another friend said, “I’m a peaceable man. But my father used to say if you raise your voice and it doesn’t do any good, it’s time to raise your hand”.

Only after he chases her through town, catches her, turns her over his knee and spanks her with a coal shovel in front of the entire town cheering him on, did she settle down and become his willing, submissive and “tame” wife. So much so that she changed her mind about wanting a divorce.

Far be it for me to speak against the “Duke”, an American Icon, but does that picture seem strange to you? Was really that type of thinking acceptable in 1963 when the movie was made. The town was cheering and happy that “history was being made”, as one put it. I just found it awkward.
