In response to a post of tc 3500 about the end of Feb. expressing that peace can be attained only if we ourselves have peace. Amen! And how can this be attained? Through Christ-Yes for Christians but I don't feel we have to wait for all people to become Christian before world peace may become a reality.God is eminent and can prevail anywhere his will is present.My twowolves post identifies a spirit in each of us that is nurtured by Good(divine authority) or Evil(self authority).As all of us in the world become of the Good Spirit or Holy, we for all practical purpose have achieved the Kingdom of God. Wow. What a thought; but as the Bible mentions, The Kingdom is near!
It will take a lot of work but if we believe that it is possible, along with individuals having peace such as Rabbi Michael Lerner in his Left Hand of God, positive action can result in something better than we are experiencing. His organization,spiritualprogressives.com is aiming at world peace through the Spirit. The nurturing of the spirit as I see it, has to begin with the next generations by nurturing with the Good traits of the spirit early in life from the womb on.How to do this is a subject for professional discussion and lots of faith.I will have some radical suggestions at a later date
