Lost

Where did everybody go, those messages and replys are oldddddd. Tx. has the lottery, it was suppose to be for the schools and yet our schools still need money. Amazes me that people are so stupid to keep electing Perry and his group of what have yous. I really believe that this country needs to be run by the women, maybe, but they got to be past menepause, that way there will be no fooling around, when they say it they mean it. No country has learned from history, so sad.

Where did everyone go?

The government that has lied to us all along to sell us phony wars claim they killed Bin Ladin. No proof, no outside investigators checking DNA and all the sudden he was tossed at sea we have been told. It sounds like more bulls-------t. Tell me your thoughts.

Truth Commision Considered

Calls grow for Bush-era 'truth commission'

Debate is heating up in the United States on establishing a "truth commission" to investigate whether the Bush administration abused its legal powers under the guise of its "war on terror."

"Nothing has done more damage to America's place in the world than the revelation that this nation stretched the law and the bounds of executive power to authorize torture and cruel treatment," said Patrick Leahy, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

He opened a hearing on Wednesday pressing for such an investigation saying it was badly needed as each week brought new revelations of alleged abuses under the administration of former US president George W. Bush.

On Monday, the administration of new President Barack Obama, published nine internal memos dating back to the Bush years.

They revealed how the former administration had given itself ample room to skirt the law on a number of controversial practices, such as the transfer of prisoners for secret interrogations or the power to wiretap phones without warrants.

Any eventual investigation could take various forms and be led either by the Congress, the criminal justice system or an independent commission.

Republican Agenda War on the MIddle Class

It is obvious to me, the Republican agenda is to assist corporate interest so that the largest corporations can bilk the American middle class, working poor and elderly.
THey want to balance the budget by destroying programs that help the middle class and working poor such as libraries, public education, police&fire protection, social security etc. Lets balance the budget by having corporate America pay their fair share of tax. Presently in most cases they pay no tax! Then lets cut our wastfeull military spending by 50%. Over 50% of our taxes goes toward military spending.
Presently, corporate greed cannot be stopped in America. Just look at gasoline prices. The oil companies conjure up any lame excuse to raise prices and our bought off politicians sell it to us. America has become of the rich, by the corporation, for the rich.We need to do away with "no billionaire left behind"
The only way out of this fiasco is for America to stand tall, and refuse the fake news media that is designed by corporate America to feed us lies. Tell 99% of our politicians to quite or be fired! Time to take back the government.

Phoney DNA

If our government has a world wide track record of not being credible, thanks to the W.Bush administration, how can we trust them with Bin Ladin's DNA results without independent experts making sure it is not more lies?

OSAMA BIN BULLS--------T

Our government claims in almost 10 years they finally killed boogieman Bin Ladin. Where is the body? I guess they need plenty of time to create a fake body. Why can't experts match the DNA so that we know the government that usually lies to us is finally telling the truth?

Obama Is With The Bankers

Check out this video-Dylan Ratigan on MSNBC

Dylan concluded "You are suggesting that Obama wants to fight for us, but he doesn't really want to do it. I'm saying he's with the bankers. He's made that clear based on his actions".

This is the real thing. We are not the only ones who think Obama has screwed us!

Not an Obama Supporter Anymore

I had belonged to the Obama Supporters group, but recently quit because they are in denial about our current president and the fact that he was elected by the majority of Americans who believed in what he said,

Obama stood on there, in front of the TV, to tell us he would change the way things were being done in Washington. He would close Quantanamo Prison, he would get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan, he would create "shovel ready" jobs., he would rein in wall street, he would improve our schools and make higher education affordable for everyone and he would have health care for all Americans.

Well here we are 3 years later, and we are still at war, no shovel ready jobs, my sons who are 20 and 28 don't have a job (we had to create one for them), wall street is still up to their old shannanigans and specualting and gambling with our money, not everyone has health care-only my youngest is on our plan until 26, our public schools are running out of money and letting many teachers go, and on and on and on.

I understand that Obama is just one man. But he came into office like a breathe of fresh air, with the FDR philosophy that America could be better, and programs could be put into place to help the common folk, just like FDR did with the New Deal program.

Instead, we are spending billions every day on a rediculous and never ending war. There seems to only be money for the wars and the wealthy for tax breaks.

What a bunch of Bu_SH_!!!!
