Welcome to the Book Illustrator's Group
After careful consideration, it was proposed, and I have agreed to take over management of this Group. At present, we have few members. I'm more than willing to share my contacts with artists wishing to illustrate books, and to share my expertise should any artist need assistance.
I will be deleting all past messages older than a month to make room for active discussion later this week. I urge the present members to spread the word to anyone interested in the fascinating world of illustrating literature.
I will also be adding individual albums to represent your "portfolio" whereby visitors, authors, or poets can easily select a member artist's technique.

Eons Artists Gallery
Some of you know that I manage other groups of Artists, and if you do, you know that I once created a directory of Eons Artists called the Eons Art Gallery, complete with a web site linking a profile photo with each artist's profile.
Well....... I decided to resurrect the web site I created for the old Eons Art Gallery and reinvent the Eons Artists Gallery. All the old links to artist's profiles are active again. Book Illustrators need simply to join the Artists Gallery Group to be included.
Please go to view link to see if (1) your link still works, and (2) if you have time note those who have left and PM me.
I still think this could work for the benefit of every Artist on Eons. If you aren't now a member of the Eons Artists Gallery and are past members of the Eons Art Gallery, you might want to PM me should you desire not to be included in this new format. If you are members of other groups of Artists, Photographers and were once interested in the all encompassing Gallery, or know of others who might wish to be included, perhaps you might spread the word to for them join the Eons Artists Gallery.
This is a whole lot of work on my part but I sincerely think that it was a good idea then and is a good idea now. Who knows, maybe you'll get some work from this Gallery. If you no longer wish to be associated with that particular web site, please PM me personally...

if you look in the "files" section, which is on the top right, where group homepage, photos, members and then files and other stuff is... you'll see I posted "for your information only".... my latest illustration job called zony book. you've seen the cover before and now, the insides. please don't reproduce it as first it's in the process of being published and two... there are two more zony books in the works which I'll also illustrate.

Never a dull moment
It always amazes and amuses me when one day I am asked to illustrate a coloring book and the next day to visualize what someone’s new invention intends to accomplish. Never a dull moment…
Can't do it alone
Members, we need to get out there... connect with all the groups, poets, writers, anyone who composes literature can certainly use our talents but they have to know we're serious about offering our assistance.
