RAGING AT JESUS
It was a day when my mind had slipped. I was off the mark. I was raging at Jesus. I had just read (in A COURSE IN MIRACLES) where Jesus said, “I am in charge of the process of Atonement, which I undertook to begin.”
In my rage I said to Jesus, “Is that so? How long have you been in charge? Were you in charge while your disciples were being crucified? Were you in charge during the inquisition, while innocent people were tortured and murdered in your name? Were you in charge during the holocaust? Were you in charge when the World Trade Center came down? Were you in charge while world population went from one hundred million to over six billion? This process of atonement that you are in charge of - how’s it going?”
Jesus answered me and said, “What you remember never was. There is no link of memory to the past because it didn’t happen. None of it happened. It didn’t happen then, and it is not happening now. There is no world.”
“Okay,” I said, “then what is this process that you say you are in charge of?”
“Benny,” he said, “there is a process going on in your mind. That is the process that I am in charge of.”
Think about it for a minute. Suppose it is all a dream. If you are the one who is experiencing the dream, then it must be your dream. It must be a product of your mind. If this is true, then how could you possibly be a victim? If this is true, then nothing has occurred in reality.
Now you are going to ask me, “what about him? – what about the terrible thing that happened to that innocent child? – what about them?” No! Don’t even go there. This is a teaching, a message that is coming into your mind at this time. You need to hear it as if this message is only for you – as if there is nothing outside of your mind – as if you are the only one that needs to hear this. I know that it is difficult to hear this teaching, but it is very important for you to at least entertain the idea of the oneness of you. Outside of you there is nothing. You are the dreamer of this world. It has no other cause.
Jesus teaches love and forgiveness. When you have succeeded in forgiving you will remember the good things and the bad stuff will fade away. And all of this is remembering. Even the future has already past. You stand at the end of your dream looking back … remembering. Forgive, and you will remember only the good stuff.
Many people will look at events like the holocaust and ask, “how can there be a God?” This teaching says very clearly that: “God is! Therefore, this world, and all of the terrible events that seem to occur here, cannot be true. This seeming meaningless cruelty could not possibly have any effect on reality. Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists.” What do you want to be true?

SPIRITUAL MATURITY
You have not even begun to mature spiritually until you can see the part that you have played in, and accepted at least some responsibility for, your own victimization.

GOD AND ENLIGHTENMENT
Does God have a location in time and space? Does He live on the other side of the moon, for example. Is God a body? Does he look like an old man with a white beard, for example (who lives on the other side of the moon)?
When we finally find enlightenment and are fully awake, are we still going to have bodies? Are we going to live inside of those bodies for ever and view the world around us from that specific location in time and space?
Are we going to have bodies that were created in His image? What if God is not a body? What if He has no specific location in time and space? When we become enlightened are we going to be like God?

All religions and faiths are honored here. However, this is not about religion, beliefs or even understanding. It is more about coming unto your God with totally empty hands and a deep yearning to enter into His Presence. And it is also about learning whatever we need to learn to help us to choose peace at every moment and in all situations.
A word about myself (Benny). I am not a guru, and have no such intentions. I cannot help you. Any spiritual progress that you make will be the result of your intentions, your good works and the Grace of God. I am simply here willing to share this space with all who are in accord with my single purpose. I will offer some teaching knowing full well that I teach what I need to learn and that ideas are strengthened when they are shared. There will also be discussions and in our sharing we will strengthen ideas that we can use in our quest.

LUCKY?
I just saw a movie called THE BUCKET LIST. The character played by Jack Nicholson has terminal cancer and he is suffering horribly from the affects of chemotherapy. In one scene he finally takes his head out of the toilet, looks at himself in the mirror for a moment and says, “just think, some lucky bastard is having a heart attack tonight.”

DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER...
My 43 year old son and his wife have an 8 yr old daughter. She is a most amazing, loving and brilliant child.
I took an opportunity to visit them during my recent travels (good to be home again). I was hoping that there might be some way to improve my relationship with my son. We always seemed to have so little in common. This visit was not much different than others.
Then, just as I was leaving, my son told me how much he loves his daughter, and how she gives him a hug and a kiss every morning when she wakes up. I thought for just a moment about all that I teach and preach and I heard myself saying, “it does not get any better than that.”
With that we finally found some common ground. His eyes filled with tears and he gave me a second good-bye hug saying, “I love you dad.”
Wow!!! Let me tell you…it does not get any better than that!!!!

DARK NIGHT
In the new Batman movie (Dark Night), the Joker is really a teacher. He is trying to expose Maya (the world that you see) for the two face that she really is – she gives with one hand and takes with the other as all of this world of duality is both good and evil. The Joker is not interested in anything that this world has to offer. We cannot see that all is one while we prefer to look upon duality.
I am on the other side of the country again (fifth time this year). Very busy…just a few minutes with my lap top each day.
