Is it me or the same for everyone? A message will say 10/11/15 replies or more but when you go into read them they all stop at 9 and it is the latest replies that are not on. I have noticed this several times so thinking I must be doing something wrong because after the 9th reply all I get is PREVIOUS/NEXT.

Thanks for steering me to the right course.

can't believe i actually found time to log on at home!! I cruise in and out all day long while I'm at work, just reading. But except for the "thought" i never have time to post!

My daily thought for the day goes out to over 2000 people now so i have click and paste down to a science...Hahaha!

I wish I'd found Eons earlier this summer when i was home all day! Its great to see a site where people are actually thinking,
interacting, questioning, growing and learning in an honest-to-God atmosphere of acceptance and understanding!! Great way to show the rest of the planet that HEY!! It CAN be done!!

Absolutely...I've run across too many of them in the past for me to start doubting them now!!

Got a question of my own? Does Eons have a place to post poetry, published articles and narrative verse? I write and sell much of my stuff but I'd gladly post it here for free cause there is no such thing as too much laughter!!! Hahaha...back soon!

Good Morning- Gee, I'm off the site for a couple of days & come back to find something I never expected to see in a group made up of people who profess to be "spiritual adults". What happened? After reading the postings related to the current situation that has many of the members greatly concerned, I was dismayed. As I have only had positive communications from both you, Mary, & you, Lynn, I cannot address the issue itself. However, I am troubled to read that anyone might consider leaving the group over this. Please do not do this. If you do, without resolving the issue first, you will carry with you negative energies that will impede your spiritual progress. There needs to be a resolution for both your sakes (& souls). In this time of "Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Men"( & Women) can't you work this out? I will pray that this matter is setted & we all can get back to our indivudual search for enlightenment. ( I am neither preaching nor judging, just trying to help as I care, as do others in the group.)

Many of us started on our journeys after finding disillusionment with various Christian religions, and I find that significant. But I also find more there. You see, after being disillusioned, we became 'seekers' after some illusory truth. And, all of us, without exception, went about finding it, 'on our own'! We didn't seek out a teacher, master, learned leader, etc., etc.. No! We set out on our own, perhaps delving into the dark regions of the library's, unused, corridors and shelves. The 'Parapsychology' categories. But no matter where we went to seek out the 'truth', we did so on our own! And there is significance in that very fact. You see, that is how all of the other 'great ones' founded their own understandings. Some of them may have written books, or started followings of their own, or even founded religions, but they all found their own truths, just as each and every one of us is doing. All of the truths that are written down, or spoken of, had to be espoused by someone at one time or another, and just who was it that gave that truth to them?! No one! They found it for themselves, then claimed it as their own! This is rightly so, and will be for each of us as well, as we find it. We, each and every one of us, are a part of that Great Universal Mind, and as such, have direct access to It's complete library of universal discoveries, including the very discovers we are wont to add to it.

Hello Friends!

Well, 2007 is just around the corner! Looking at this from a spiritual perspective it is a great time to begin getting rid of those old things, ideas, etc. that no longer work and allowing the rebirth of new possibilities that can broaden our horizons and touch the lives of others in positive and loving ways. We only need to allow ourselves to hear that small still voice within.

If I may, I would like to share with you a beautiful little movie by Mary Robinson Reynolds? I have watched it a number of times and find it to be beautiful and relaxing.

In Jeff's announcement for the group, he used the term shipwreck. Well, for those of you who are not aware, once again Florida had some bad weather on Christmas day. Could as was pointed out on an earlier post, "some people felt the earth move" and didn't realize what was happening? In any case, if I stop posting, I would like you to remember me as this song said:

Merry Christmas and Hello to all friendly groupies!

I have to admit, I got home from Cleveland and thought I would spend some time on EONS this evening. I have to admit-"drama" bums me out especially on a day that is supposed to be wrapped with good will, peace towards [wo]men. While I have been surfing, I turned the tube on to "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" largely for the music. It seems I caught it just in time to see the candidate/KKK leader be "escorted" out the door after throwing around some slander about the Soggy Bottom Boys' band. Ya see, I am just like that audience; I am here to have a little fun after the holidays. So let the laughter begin!

{Going a little deep in search of becoming a true spiritual ADULT, in this one, my friends. A little controversy may arise here. No feeding frenzy. please. No climax like in Richard Bach's "ILLUSIONS,"ok? ok? (It's been getting a little warm on this board today.)}

In this world, Angels are real. So is God. So is Buddha, Allah, Yahweh, the Power of Prayer, the I Ching, Healing with Rocks, and Holy Beings.

So are vampires, Voodoo, Satan, Hell, the Red menace, the Yellow Peril, Exorcism, the Threat to Christianity, the Tyranny of Religion, the Immorality of Atheism, the Empire of Evil, the Terrorist Threat, the Dangers of Government Spying, Elvis sightings, the Superiority of Western Civilization, Aliens in Roswell, the Hispanic invasion, Men being jerks and women (...well, you know), and the imminent End Times.

These are all real because enough people believe in, or speak, each of them. To those people, the above are are all as real as the Power of Music, the Value of Education, the Sanctity of Marriage, the inevitability of painful childbirth, the respect automatically due to soldiers, schoolteachers, grandparents, presidents, priests, and employers. Some people will see their favorite belief on this list and say, "Whaddya mean? Of course the ________ is real! What are you, blind? Or a Communist?"

Not all of those are real to you? Okay. They don't have to be. In the ordinary--as opposed to the Spiritual--realm, what is real is what we believe/think/speak. For some people, Catholics/Jews/Blacks/Hispanics/ Republicans/Democrats/Socialists/ younameits really ARE the problem. And for those people, these groups REALLY ARE. Because that's all they can see. When you wear orange glasses, everything looks ("is") orange.

So, in our world these are all true (or not) but only interimly true (or not), not Absolutely. In the Spiritual Realm, none of them are really true, or false.

What is really true in the Spiritual Realm? Aha!

Even if I had the words to say it, I don't know that either you or I could grok it, yet. (Unless one of us is a Holy Being in drag! I know I'm not. Please, New Thought-ers, don't tell me we all are underneath, but we don't know it. That's for another thread.)

Believe what you will in this world, if it makes you and others joyful and peaceful. No beliefs are non-virtuous, by the way. Physical, verbal, and mental actions are, though. Hurting people and animals is non-virtuous.

Of course, that could just be Jesus', Buddha's, and my point of view.
