Now its the day after Thanksgiving and the news says OBAMA IS GOING TO ANNOUNCE HE WILL SEND troops......THIS WOULD BE THE FIRST THING OBAMA HAS DONE that I really am surprised at.

This is a BAD Healthcare bill!!!
I am a a supporter of Our President and a life-long democrat but I cannot, in good faith, support any politician who can support a bill like this.
Take a look at section 2713 of the bill which provides for limitations based on the Preventative Medicine task force recommendations. That means no mammograms under 50 no PSA tests and other procedures that we know will save lives.
Please contact your Representative and help stop this bad bill.

U.S. won't join landmine ban, administration decides.
I assume the US is making and selling land mines, Why else would they not join the ban? But, it hurts me to think Obama is letting this happen on his watch.

this is just wrong. in this case i believe that bush was correct to keep them off u.s. soil. however, they should have been shot before it led to torture. I was surprised no one brought this up or I didn't find it.
They, the terrorist, should have been shot on the field or within a month. I am afraid that this will lead to our revolution. We are overdue. We almost had one because of the bank debacle.

The Credibility Factor
Why anyone would listen to ANYTHING that the conservatives offer is beyond me. They tell us that we can't afford change. They tell us that it's safer to stay with the way things have been done for eons. They had 8 years to effect a positive direction for our country. Instead, they put us in two wars (Weapons of mass destruction!) gave tax breaks to all of their pals, gave massive no bid contracts to Halliburton and many other friends, compromised our personal freedoms with internal snooping, increased the national debt tremendously and allowed deregulation of financial markets to destroy our investments. Now they want to forget those 8 years and make it appear that President Obama created all of these calamities.
