Hi! I've recently gotten interested in ATCs but I do prefer the ACEOs (Artist Cards, Editions and Originals) because you can sell them! I have sold 18 of them on eBay so far. I may be mercenary but I don't want to put in all that work just to give them away, no that I'm making any money, to speak of! I'll be glad to post a few, though.

Seeking Traders......

I had not heard of ATCs until a couple of months ago, but since that day, I have been making and trading them through the mail. It is just so much fun when an envelope arrives. I am a fiber artist and have been making mine from fabrics. I was hesitant to trade but have gotten all positive comments. If anyone is interested in trading from 1 to 5 cards... IM me..

New to ATC

Hello you other ATC members. I learned about Artist Trading Cards recently from some of the members of the Drawing and Painting Group. I think its a fun and creative idea especially since I don't have much time or energy to paint large paintings. As a quick start to ATCs, I've cut up an old watercolor painting that had some bad patches. See my profile page for photos. Will post more ATC photos soon.

ATCs

I have just started a group called ATCs. An ATC is a small (2.5" x 3.5") work of art that is never sold but exchanged either thru snail mail or shown online. You do not have to think of yourself as an artist (Everyone is an artist) to make one. If mailed make sure they are sturdy enough to survive mailing and be sure to put your name and contact on back of card. Be creative! It fun! Some people store their collection in baseball card holders. Join in. All are welcome.
