I love the look of the night sky. This article about a young man who spent a year photographing the sky from around the world was interesting. view link Then I clicked on the link to see the website.
After flying around in space for a while, i finally turned on the interactive feature. I was checking out the constellations when I saw the line-up. The planets seem to be on the cusp of Aquarius/Pisces. Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter all in a row, like beads on a string.

Lightcast Moon!

This phase of the Moon occurs at 12 degrees and 31 minutes of Taurus, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 7 to 17 degrees of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) most significantly.
With this potent Taurus energy, we have the chance to make important changes in our lives. It's time to make some solid yet realistic plans, and to set the stage for reaping the rewards from our new beginnings.
Quitting Eons
I've really enjoyed participating in the Astrology group here. However, I am going to be canceling my Eons membership. Recently, I noticed that Eons has started putting advertising on people's profile pages in a way that makes it seem as though the Eons member is personally recommending the products involved. On my page the other day, one of the products was a weight loss program that struck me as a bit sleazy, and which I would never recommend.
Didn't want to disappear without letting people know why I was quitting.

New Moon

This phase of the Moon occurred at 13 degrees and 30 minutes of Aries, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 8 to 18 degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) most significantly.
What a concentrated Aries energy. I was wondering how members were experiencing this March time? Personally I feel as if I am catching a wave and the ride is thrilling.Aries brothers and sisters are remarking at the great degree of awareness flooding their beings at this time. I am certain we all at least are responding to Mars being there with all the other energy in Aries.
Embrace!
Jupiter and Pluto
What's going on that's interesting right now? Well, we're in a period when the Saturn-Uranus-Pluto t-square that stirred so much up last year is not in effect for awhile before it comes back into alignment during the summer and fall of 2011 to finish its work. So why is it just now that so many changes are happening in the Middle East?
Saturn, the planet of stability and authority, is retrograde and has moved well out of alignment with both Uranus and Pluto. Uranus and Pluto are about 8 degrees from square, a good distance apart, but still within a range in which their energies have some combined effect. Some astrologers think Pluto has as wide an orb of influence as the Sun and Moon, and I would not necessarily dispute that - the Pluto energy can be quite powerful. So with Saturn out of the picture, the alignment between Uranus (in the last degrees of Pisces at the cusp of Aries, which blends Pisces idealism with the Aries energy for new beginnings) and Pluto (in Capricorn which relates to governmental authority) is all about change.
Put Jupiter in Aries square to Pluto, and Jupiter's optimistic energy persuades people they really can change a government that isn't working for them. That sense of hope and belief in their own collective power to create change has made all the difference in Egypt - and could result in similar changes in Iran.
How about in our own lives? If you have planets at or near 4 degrees of a sign, especially Aries, Capricorn, Libra or Cancer, are you feeling a surge of hope that you can change some situation that has not been working for you?

Full Worm

This phase of the Moon occurs at 28 degrees and 48 minutes of Virgo and Pisces, affecting people born with personal planets and points at approximately 26 to 30 degrees of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) and approximately 0 to 2 degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) most significantly.
Yet another full moon occurring at 28 degrees of Sun sign!
Worm Moon - At the time of this spring Moon, the ground begins to soften and earthworm casts reappear, inviting the return of robins. This is also known as the Sap Moon, as it marks the time when maple sap begins to flow and the annual tapping of maple trees begins.

Aquarius New Moon, Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011
7:31 PM MST, Sun and Moon at 13º Aquarius
Aquarius evolves out of the practical power of the previous Earth sign, Capricorn. This inspirational, fixed air sign moves us out of the perfection, organization and authority of the physical realms of earth manifestation and into the element of air and relationship. The culmination of the gifts of the other air signs ~ mental intelligence and expression (Gemini) and harmony of personal relationships (Libra) is manifested by Aquarius at the universal level as cooperation within the group bound by a common ideal and dedicated to the good of all.
Aquarius gives us that flash of intuitive wisdom that comes like a lightening bolt of inspiration. Aquarius' genius sees the big picture and gives us the detachment to invent brilliant solutions and express our total uniqueness and at the same time, have only the good of the collective at heart. It brings to the fore a global, humanitarian perspective. Uranus, Aquarius' ruler, breaks through the hard structures of Capricorn's ruler, Saturn, and brightens the cosmic waves with originality, independence, eccentricity, inventiveness, will power and revolutionary action.
At this New Moon there is such a line up of influence spanning two signs from 2º Capricorn through 29º Aquarius! North Node, Vesta, Pluto, Pallas Athena, and Mercury in Capricorn, and Ceres, Moon, Sun, Mars, Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius. It's a message, a metaphor, a long skinny finger pointing the way! We are poised between the Saturn-ruled, authority-driven, security-oriented structures of the past and the liberating freedom of spiritual evolution and focus on the interconnectedness, equality and diversity of the human family on a living planet. We are being asked to metamorphize from earth crawlers into spirit flyers. The squeeze is on! And every moon cycle and planetary shift inches us forward on our evolutionary path ~ our planet feels it, we feel it personally and we feel it as a species.
