Update circa 9/5/08
I just posted a rather lengthy message in response to some issues having to do with moderating my website here. The gist of it is that I will reply to all messages at the rate of 5 per announcement in this manner:-
The earliest 2 not already answered
The latest 2 not already answered
the final one I will choose at random
After all at last count I had 88 messages from you fine folks out there. I have posted 110 announcements to date here.
TangSooPap and SanDiegoGirl (if they want and so long as we don't get spammed out) can act as co-moderators here. Anyone else who wants to can be a co-moderator here as well. However, I still have the final say on this one of the only two anime clubs in eons. The other is Anime Music Videos and is mostly uploaded music files.
Now the news as Gunnar Back used to say on ABC:-
My ff Xmas w/ the DP is complete at 184 chappies and posted both sites- ff.net & animeonline.net
My ff Angel Wings is 25 chappies strong and all are posted both places. This one will end at either 30 or 35 chappies I promise.
My profile/bio at ff.net and my profile page at animeonline.net are quite interesting and have the only full chappie title lists for my ff's.
Photos at all of my websites. I post at a lot of yahoo groups clubs but the most prolific one is animeontv which features an anime on tv monthly guide.
Six (and then some!) new characters have been added to Wings. They are Hugh, Alex, Rick, Drew, Eric and Bear- History Channel's own Ice Rd Truckers of course. Trucking on an ice world near Mars (Gysymeo) for the 3WA they then head for Kei's home world (Workoh) to rescue Yuri Donovan from John Berringer and his evildoing band of thugs and killers.
Read/review/suggest away and know this- I post ff's, reviews, quizzes, character interviews, anime info, answer any and all questions about anything anime and/or Japanese including history and Romaji (English letters) script language (no Kanji yet, my own thoughts on many things, etc. You can email me privately at keimanzero@hotmail.com and as far as I know we cannot email the clubsite at eons- not yet anyway. You can post here or at any other anime club on the web. Chances are good that I either post there or am a member there.
Vicky, Al and the Hellsing company are coming back into Wings soon.
As far as I can tell here are some of the anime programming from tv here in SE Pa:-
Mondays have SciFi Animonday (all times ET) << 11 PM and 1 AM
Tuesdays sometimes have IFC showing anime and Starz too.
Wednesdays usually have no anime.
Thursdays usually have IFC anime at 8:30 PM or later.
Fridays have IFC showing Gunslinger Girl at 11:30 PM and sometimes CN's Adult Swim at 1 AM shows decent anime. The rest of the week is comedy cartoon junk.
Saturdays CN's Toonami (9-10 PM) features Naruto (Eppy 194 this weekend) and then << 11 PM and 2 AM the lineup is thus:-
11 to M- Metalocalypse and Venture Bros (Yuckie)
M- 12:30 AM- Shin Chan (Riotously funny)
12:30 AM to 1 AM- Bleach
1 AM to 1:30 AM- Code Geass
1:30 AM to 2 AM- Guardian of the Spirit(Moribito)- a period piece about a spear fighting Amazon named Balsa protecting a prince from killers in his own family. Seems OK.
Soon I will post my anime collection list here (DVD, VHS, CD, 'burned' CDs and MP3s, merchandise) that is to say maybe sometime after Xmas. Incidentally if you haven't read Xmas with the DP at least read up to Ch 35 if you like a good Scroogey Xmas tale. The very first chapter is exciting and funny. It all starts when the Angels go Xmas shopping at the Higurashi Mall and well- why do you think the Angels are called the 'Dirty' Pair? Why is Clint Eastwood's 'Dirty Harry' so called? By the way AMC-TV this month is featuring all 5 'DH' flicks with the fifth and final one tonight at 8 PM with an encore at 10:30 PM. The 5 films are:- DH, Magnum Force, The Enforcer, Sudden Impact and The Dead Pool.
Gotta split but kysoti/sfn/sys/jm/Kami bless each and every one of you folks and toodles-K&K

Sticky = Announcements
I have just learned that 'Announcements' in Groups are now known as 'Sticky Messages' however like the old announcements the latest one still precedes the messages/replies. Thought you'd like to know.
Sorry but I have been out sick for two days so the only anime I got to watch was Gunsmith Cats and Jin Roh- the Wolf Brigade. Both are superb and feature tough gals in them. JR is kind of tragic being a retelling of Red Riding Hood the way the Bros Grimm originally wrote it. Like their other fairy tales most of which were truly grim RRH was rewritten as a kiddie story.
GC is about two gun and explosive toting gal teens (Rally's 17 or 18 and Minnie Mae is 15 or 16) who are bounty hunters in Chicago. The series which is only three eppys long features actual gun shot sounds as well as engine sounds from Rally's Shelby Cobra car! The producers recorded actual gunfire and car engine sounds for the series- awesome eh?
Tonight on Starz2 (Ch 371 Comcast here in PA) they will show a most unusual anime 'Paprika' which is similar to the Freddie Krueger 'Nightmare' films. Got some new animes and CDs to view and hear since last we spoke. More about them in the regular posting- maybe tomorrow.
Gotta run but SFN/SYS/JM/KB/KYSOTI and toodles-K&K

OK as promised here are the next 5 replies from the two newest posts first:-
TanSooPap re: Naruto Movie 2: Legend of the Stone of Gelel--
It was great like all Naruto films. I saw it a few weeks back on CN's Toonami. I still cannot believe that the series will soon eclipse its 200th eppy. I love the show, the characters especially Gaara of the Sand Village, the plot and the attention to minor details and stuff like that. Keep up the good job TSP. If you want it you are a co-moderator along with SanDiegoGirl if she so chooses and anyone else who wants to throw in their two yen. Next--
Love your anime gals at dressupgames.com/anime.html A cool way to unwind and not too hard to use either. They are like good old Colorforms (remember them?) only they are online.
Secon is again SanDiegoGirl whom I hope will be a co-moderator for us.
Sorry but I ain't really into cosplay SDG although your 'Pirate Girl' is very reminiscent of Geena Davis playing Morgan Adams in Cutthroat Island which preceded Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swann in the Pirates/Caribbean films and Pirates 1,2,3 borrowed heavily from it.
Mama loves to play dress up on Hall-o-we'en for the Kokurenbooers (Trick or Treaters) and she always chooses an anime character to portray. Last year was Queen Emeraldas and this year- InuYasha- if I can locate a red/white bathrobe set for her that is. Keep up the great posts SDG and now it's time for the random pick-
One of our newest members and an old tomo from yahoo groups' animeontv and Animeaholics1- ElwinColdiron aka Blaine-
Welcome my tomo watashi to a true anime site. So far I have not had to block anyone for spamming us. I still haven't had to block that airplane ticket seller from my Animeaholics1 site on YG either. Keep our fingers crossed folks. I am sure Blaine will bring some great ideas and info to us here so again Welcome to the anime-a-holics tomo ours.
And the earliest two not yet answered are:-
oldcootazzy- an experienced lady who knows here anime. Welcome to the anime-a-holics OCA and wow! I love your choices of top 5 animes watching now and recently purchased. I dunno anything about Claymore which sounds like a Scottish series and probably ain't. Gintama, Madlax and Monster are new to me as well. Prince of Tennis- Now- Well I am into golf not tennis and yes I've seen the POT series and sorry honey burt I hated it. To each his own eh?
Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, Full Metal Panic, SaiYuki, Noir-- great choices which inspired me to include characters from all of 'em except FMP in my fanfictions. Welcome to Animeland OCA and keep posting. Hey- Black lagoon, Full Metal Alchemist, Samurai 7, Bebop-- great animes all. BL, FMA, Bebop all have characters in my ff's too. One to go eh?--
NotMatt- So ya wanna learn a real cultured and ancient language eh? I have been learning Japanese Romaji script (English letters not Kanji which is like chicken scratches) for over six years now. My ff's have vocabulary lists sometimes 'cause I use a lot of Japanese in the stories. Check out Chapters 3 and 7 in Xmas with the Dirty Pair for instance.
There are scads of online dictionaries like
www.freedict.com/japanese and Rightstuf.com has a great book taylor made for translating subtitled animes. Not too expensive either. I also have several book dictionaries which I found at second hand bookstores and online at Amazon.com Good luck tomo watashi (my good friend)
Gravitation is a rock group anime and not my cup of java. It runs here on ComcastOnDemand/CuttingEdge/ Animeselects/Drama
Eureka 7 is great and FLCL is superb. For an anime created on a bettor's whim to see how many crossovers could be squeezed into an anime series with the least episodes (FLCL has six and at last count over 200 crossovers. They're subtle but they are there) and FLCL wins hands down. By the way Foolly Coolly is japanese for 'hanky panky' if you get my drift? After all, I have teens that belong here you know and I can't use that kind of profanity like the 'F' word! Well tomo welcome to anime-a-holics and I hope to hear from you again. Browse around here and over at yahoo groups' Animeaholics1 and animeontv as well as animeonline.net and fanfiction.net too.
This concludes this session's replies and until next time- SFN/SYS/JM/Kami bless you all and kysoti. Arigatou Kami te Kinyobi (Thank God It's Friday!) and toodles-K&K

What has happened to our CN's AS Saturday Nights?
Re: Dirty Pair Fanfiction(What Has Happened to Our CN's AS anime on Saturdays?
---------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------
Calling all anime fans worldwide:-
Seems to me hke CN’s AS has forgotten its roots from long ago- anime. Anyone recall the very first two shows on AS way back when? ‘Outlaw Star’ and ‘Cowboy Bebop’- both animes. Another anime ‘Sailor Moon’ was originally run at 3 PM ET followed by ‘Dot/Hack/Sign’ yet another anime.
Now take a gander at the Saturday evening (which is our sole anime night now) crap we’ve been handed. OK- Bleach and Full Metal Alchemist are great but where are ‘Shin Chan’, ‘Death Note’, ‘Ghost in the Shefl’, ‘Blood+’, ‘Trinity Blood’, ‘Bebop’, ‘Outlaw Star’, ‘Trigun’ as well as ‘Code Geass’ and ‘Moibito’ and the rest of our animes? The first two air at 11 PM and 11:30 PM (all times ET) while the last two air at 5 AM and 5:30 AM!- the ‘anime graveyard’! And the rest? Gone! What did we get in their places?
‘Metalacalypse’ (sheesh!), Venture Bros (yuck), Assy McGee (inane idiocy), 12 Oz Mouse (The only good thing about this one is the Nine Inch Nails music theme), Family Guy and its bookend partner American Dad (Can ya believe Fox airs this crapola when kids are still up?), The Oblongs (stupidity reigns supreme), The Squidbillies (Unbelieveable garbage eh?), OK- Aqua Teen Hunger Force was good- the first 50 times they shoved it down our throats and now- it’s passe and blahl), Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show (What Es so awesome about two retarded gays (from Tom Goes to the Mayor) trying to do comedy and figuring the best way is to just use endless profanity?), well- there’s more but you true blue red-blooded anime fans out there in Animeland get the picture- right? Whatever comedy ‘cartoons’ (not anime mind yal) AS wants to shove up our asses! I’m mad as Hell and I am starting some polls to find out what true AS fans (AS was created for us anime folks if ya remember) want and I am hereby registering my complaint with AS, CN and the production staffs at CN itselt Why have you lied to us true blue AS anime fans? You promised us that Sundays would be the ‘only’ day for comedy cartoon junk and that was fine with us. We still had M-F and Saturdays for anime. Even when you stole M-F AS for comedy we understood and were content (albeit grudgingly) with Saturdays for anime on AS. Now all we have left Sats is Bleach and FMA. Arigatou Kami that Naruto is Toonami not AS or we’d lose that too like we lost lnuYasha and Rurouni Kenshin! Then you announced Trigun was coming back. Another tardiddle as WC Fields would say. You promised us ‘better’ programming and what do we have for the most part- pornographic garbage which I am surprised gets past a censor board who gave an over 17 warning to Pee Wee’s Playhouse for kami’s sake!
Attention out there in Animeland! If you feel the same way The Keiman does- that you have been betrayed and shafted by CN and AS go to these sites and vote in the polls:-
‘Are you satisfied with the new Adult Swim format of constant comedy cartooning and very very little anime? Suggest your own lineups to AS too. Here’s mine. Saturday only anime is OK with me so long as the schedule begins at 11 PM and goes to 2 AM. Then at 2 AM they could show this mindless comedy cartoon dribble instead of putting quality anime like CG and Moribito on at 5 in the morning. Here tis:11 PM Bleach
11:30 PM Full Metal Alchemist
12 M Death Note
12:30 AM lnuYasha
1 AM Code Geass and when CG ends its run soon replace it with Trigun or Bebop
1:30AM Moribito
Toonami could dump Ben 10 at 10 PM and Samurai jack at 10:30 PM Sats and replace ‘em with other anime like Bebop or Trigun or IY. In the meantime be advised that ComcastOnDemand! CuttingEdgelAdultSwimlAction is featuring Big 0, Death Note, Code Geass,
lnuYasha, Ghost/Shell and Samurai Ohamploo eppys. 000/FreeMovies/IFO has Speedgrapher and Hellgirl eppys. COD/Kids/CartoonNetwork/Action has Naruto eppys. ON airs Naruto weeknights at 10 or 10:30 PM as well, SciFi airs Animonday Monday nights at 11 PM to 1 AM and currently features double eppys of Guren Lagann and Now and Then, Here and There. Starz Encore Action sometimes airs anime like Black Lagoon as well so check for times. The TV Guide book is useless so use the onscreen guides or Comcast website or TVGuide website for assistance. Until AS finally comes to their senses I guess we will have to be content with these small pittances of aour beloved anime. Go to COD and look around, There is anime galore- you just gotta look for it folks. sometimes wonder whatever happened to that AIl Anim& network ON promised us so very long ago? And (sigh) do not think we will be seeing my Lovely Angels Kei and Yuri on ShowtimeBeyond anytime soon either, Luckily most of us Angel-a-holics have all of the videos for the gals three tv series (two dubbed and one only subbed), three films and their short (fifteen seconds) debut on Crusher Joe the Movi& The Keiman can (of course) help you to locate any hard to find anime videos on either VHS or DVD but for BlueRay Discs sorry youre on your own there.
Feel free to contact me about these ongoing anime problems. I welcome your suggestions and grievances. So its Sayonara for now/See ye soonlJa Mata/Kami bless you all and power be to our true blue red-blooded anime fans everywhere- both in the States and abroad as well. The time is now to stand up and be counted my tomo& Toodles for now-K&K
PS- Those polls are at anirne-a-holics, Animeaholicsl, animeonline.net and at animeontv Sorry for not mentioning them earlier. Onegai er please vote, Lets not allow AS and ON to get away with this nonsense any more. TTFN-K&K:smileymad:
PS2- My URLs have been disallowed but all you anime fans out there know where to find The Keiman eh? Vote my tomos before its too late-K&K:robotmad:
Original post from adultswim.com
Poll: Are you satisfied with the new AS format of constant comedy cartoons and very very little anime?' Yes or No.

5 replies- c. 9/15/08
The two newest replies as per usual are TangSooPap and SanDiegoGirl while the two oldies are dogmommy and justchuck and the random one is NotMatt:-
TSP- Re: Lost Universe, Girls' High, Death Note, Database link
SDG- Re: ComicConSanDiego, xxxholic, Woodstock, Cat ix, Catgirl pix, Densha Otoko (Train Man), Japanese to English subtitles
NotMatt- Re: FLCL and Beck- Mongolian Chop Squad
JustChuck- Re: New Here
dogmommy- Re; Cinema magic, Anime Network, What's Up and New Type magazine
Whew! A long list eh? Here we go:-
TSP: Lost Universe- I must check but I think the laser swords were used in stuff before Geo Lucas used 'em in Star Wars in 1979. Gotta try and find LU- sounds like a Sci Fi classic.
Girls' High: Don't ya just adore the way the Japanese copied the old fashioned American Catholic girls' school uniforms with those too short skirts and the sailor tops with the cute bows? My fave is Kagome Higurashi on InuYasha. The most unusual I've seen are the ones on Code Geass- business suit tops with blazers, ties and vests and the typical shortie skirts.
Death Note the Movie: Looks good esp the actor portraying 'L'!
Ai Yori Aoshi: This one sounds a lot like an oldie called Love Hina and I gotta say the only really cool part about LH was the wild music man!
A big domo arigatou to ya for all the great database links you've been posting here tomo.
SDG:-
Woodstock: I never really was much of a flower child even though Dennis Hopper is one of my fave actors. He's really cool in Ticker w/ Steve Seagall where he plays Irish bomber Alex Swann. Your attached pix is more like an 80's punk rocker like the Sex Pistols rather than a 1969 rocker a la Woodstock.
Cat/Catgirl pix: Cute neko and really kawaii lil neko girl pix. Catgirl looks a bit like Ichigo Tokyo Mew-Mew though.
xxxholic: Not a clue on this one but it does sound like a soaper eh?
CCSD: I do not do conventions. Guess I'm a bit old fashioned gang. Great pirate getup (pix) like Geena davis as Morgan Adams in Cutthroat Island and definitely not a bit like Keira Knightley as Eliz Swann in the Pirates/Caribbean flicks.
DO(TM): Nice pix but what's it all about? Is it available?
J to E subs: Ichigo always uses Western slang and even Rukia and Renji have picked it up.
Sorry but I gotta make this a two parter Next up will be the random hit of NotMatt. OK? More soon. Stay tuned. Toodles-K&K

c. 9/15/08- Continuation of 5 replies &c.
Well so much for old TangSooPap and SanDiegoGirl. Now for the two oldest posts of Dogmommy
And JustChuck and the random post of NotMatt. I am adding Blaine (Elwin Coldiron) my newest
Member to the mix since he's an old tomo from my YahooGroups' Animeaholics1 and animeontv
Clubsite (not mine) as well as being active in critiqueing my fanfiction work. First up- Dogmommy-
Re Cinema Magic- Sorry DM but the last film I saw in a civilian movie theatre was in 1962. It was
The classic Steve Reeves' film 'Thief of Baghdad' and yeh I finally did find a copy (VHS) and the very
Next day I found it on DVD so now I have both copies of it. By the by- Steve's films are very hard to
Find. The very last film I saw in a theatre was in 1970 at Fort Knox, Ky. Where I was during my
Active duty stint with the Pa. Army National Guard (1970-1978). The film was George C Scott's
'Patton' and it was ironic watching it on the same base that General George Patton once commanded.
The base itself was prominently featured in the James Bond/007 film 'Goldfinger' which starred Sean
Connery as Bond and Gert Frobe as Goldfinger.
New Type magazine-- Tell your son to try the Ocean Group in Vancouver BC in Canada. A lot of the
Voice dubbing is done there for many animes like InuYasha. Anime mags are OK I guess but tend to
be expensive and get dropped by the publishers pretty frequently but hey- ya can find a whole
Helluva lotta anime info and stuff like that online. Just check out my anime info sources from my lists
Posted here under another sticky message.
The Anime Network?- Sure. Go to ComcastOnDemand/CuttingEdge/ TheAnimeNetwork. Their menu
Is pretty diverse and it's updated weekly as a rule. Selection lately has been getting pretty crappy
Though.
What's Up?- We loved both Trinity Blood and Hellsing. I even included Father Nightroad and some of
His pals in my fanfictions. Ditto for Alucard and his Hellsing tomos. The Hellsing Organization is a
Vampire hunting group founded by Dr VanHelsing (remember him from Dracula. He was the guy who
Did away with the evil count- or did he?) and his daughter Sir Integra Winifred VanHelsing is the
Group's current leader. Alucard now well- here's a hint- spell his name backwards- anyhow Al's her
Aide-de-camp. The series is great albeit definitely not for the squeamish or faint of heart. Al has a pro-
Tege of his own- an ex cop named Seras Victoria but her nickname is 'Police Girl' and yeah- Vicky's a
Vampire too- say a vampire in training since she detests the consumption of blood!
My random pick this time was NotMatt
FLCL- Without a doubt this is the weirdest anime ever! Even its conception was weird. Created on a
Bet twixt producers to see how many 'crossovers' from other animes could be squeezed into the fewest
Number of episodes and Foolly Coolly won hands down! There are at least 200 'crossovers' if not
More since one tends to find another one each time it is viewed anew. Remember- FLCL is only six
Episodes long. FLCL is the Japanese slang term for er 'hanky panky' if ya get my drift? Onegai-
This site is for kids (over twelve) too so I really cannot use heavy profanity here! Did ya ever figure
Out FLCL's plot? Let us know if and when ya do- I couldn't seem to find one in it. What was the series
That lost the bet? 'Paranoia Agent' it was with many crossovers too maybe even more than FLCL yet it
Still loses. Why? Because 'PA' is 26 eppys long.
Densha Otoko (Train Man)- Sorry NotMatt but I inadvertently credited SanDiegoGirl with finding
'Densha Otoko' aka 'Train Man' in a prior posting. I apologize for this faux paux.
Making Anime Inspired Clothing- A bit over my head I'm afraid since I don't 'do' conventions.
However, I've no objections to your posting designs here if you like.
Beck- Mongolian Chop Squad- I'll bite NotMatt- Oro the oni is Beck and oro has it got to do with
Anime?
Another old posting here was by JustChuck
New Here- Welcome my tomo (friend) to anime-a-holics. In another posting here you will find our
'Top 5 Faves' lists. Check 'em out for more details on oro to watch. Although I saw Steel Angel
Kurumi (and made her a cop in my fanfiction) years ago I recall it vividly. Don't ya just love the
Music? Sound familiar? Tell ya why- It's the theme music from Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
Where it was called Hooray For Santy Claus and it's also the original 'Astroboy' theme music from his
Black and white debut. Kurumi is strong I'll grant you but she's tame compared to our Lovely Angels
Kei and Yuri- OK the Dirty Pair and the Dirty pair Flash- so called because they leave destruction in
Their wake hence their nickname! What are your interests JC- animewise that is? A good place to start
Is at animeontv.com/series where you'll find a good anime list complete with plots, characters, voices,
Themes, music and more. They publish a monthly tv anime viewing guide and it is updated frequently.
You can join the animeontv club group at Yahoo Groups like I did or you can just browse the forums
There if you like.
OK- I feel a tad guilty for always making the newest posts replies TangSooPap and SanDiegoGirl
Although they are my most prolific posters especially TSP! Anyway I'm now gonna answer one of my
Newest members- Elwin Coldiron aka Blaine- he's an old tomo from animeontv and Animeaholics1
Over in yahoo Groups. He has frequently commented on my two (so far anyway) fanfictions which
Can be read here:

Blaine is a great reviewer and suggester and he seems to be well read and well versed in the finer
Aspects of anime. OK Blaine here we go--
'Xenosaga' which was based on the video game of the same name. Sorry tomo but the Keiman does
Not have a clue on this one. Online video gaming just ain't my 'cup of java' as Kei O'Halloran is wont
To call a cup of coffee. Now don't get me wrong. Gaming and I go way back- to Atari and its very first
Game cartridge- Combat. I never got beyond Atari gaming although I do possess a vast collection of
Atari cartridges. My fave game was Raiders of the Lost Ark which to date I still have not managed to
Solve! I play online games at shockwave.com and like sites. One of my old faves in anime is one
Which is gaming oriented- Dot/Hack/Sign- a gamer is trapped in a virtual gameworld. An anime with
A similar albeit more humourous plot was 'MAR'. It seems like Hollywood has discovered anime and
Video games as well- Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Dungeons and Dragons, Mario
Brothers, the list seems endless! Anyway let me look up this Xenosaga and report my findings in a
Later post- OK?
Just one more thing as Jackie Chan's uncle would say on the old 'JC Adventures' series. Remember
Jackie's niece- Jade?
When I first heard of the 'soon to top the half billion dollar mark' movie The Dark Knight I thought
It was about the other dark knight- Ivanhoe who was played sort of like Robin Hood. Ben Pullen had
The starring role in the old DK tv series aired on A&E network several years ago and I was crushed
When it got dumped and never resurfaced. Lord Ivy, however, lives on in my ff as do many more of
My old fave characters from tv, films, cartoons, anime, books, etc. Not to worry Batman fans- I'm
Getting the Dark Knight DVD from my club automatically just as soon as it comes to home video
Which from the looks of things will not be for quite some time!
Kudos to SciFi channel for Animondays at 11 PM ET. We love Gurren Lagann as well as the other
One- Now & Then, Here & There. Most unusual plots in both animes. The GL voices are great and
Quite familiar. The other one, however, has but one voice I recognized. Jack Taylor who voices King
Hamdo yet I cannot place his voice. Anyone? Ditto for the haunting theme music from both shows.
N&T, H&N sounds like it might be from- Damn! It's gone out of my thoughts again! Most annoying
Being unable to recall something don't ya think?
Two more themes that irk me are the music box melody from NOIR and the OT from Gunslinger
Girl and the operatic aria sung during the GG ET.
Straying offtopic a mite but on PBS Kids Sprout there is a cool cartoon about a mouse ballerina-
Angelina Ballerina. Judy Dench voices Miss Lily her teacher and Judy's real life daughter Finty
Williams does Angelina Mouseling's voice. The show has the most hauntingly familiar theme music.
If anyone can tell me what it is from I'd appreciate it. I just found out that the violin music used in the
Eppy where Angie's sister Polly was born is from the Sherlock Holmes series which starred Jeremy
Brett. It was on PBS Mystery. Speaking of old Jeremy- his nephew or is it his uncle? Is Martin Clunes
And he voices Kipper, a dog on yet another Sprout cartoon. Gomen I tend to get carried away
Sometimes. Maybe it was better when I didn't have the time to maintain my sites and had to content
Myself with announcements (now sticky messages) and updates eh? Gadzooks! How I miss my old
Anime shows! SFN etc. Keep your stick on the ice. Toodles for now-K&K
And JustChuck and the random post of NotMatt. I am adding Blaine (Elwin Coldiron) my newest

Gunsmith Cats

Keiman's not the only one with a thing for girls and guns. Although this is in a more earthbound setting - Chicago, Illinois - and there isn't that much damage done, this is one action-packed ride not to miss!
Irene "Rally" Vincent is one cool lady, and the owner of "Gunsmith Cats" a gunshop in Chicago. However, that is not her main bread-and-butter. She is a bail recovery agent, or bounty hunter, catching crooks for a portion of the bail posted. Her partner is "Minnie" May Hopkins, who looks 14 but is really 18 (Rally is 19, BTW). May is a former prostitute, now an explosives expert who loves to hear things go 'boom'. Together, the two try to keep Chicago clean.
But this adventure may have the girls biting off more than they can chew. A sleazy A.T.F. agent 'recruits' Rally and May (blackmail, really) into aiding him in a weapons sting operation. At first hesitant, the girls agree and shut-down a major distribution point in the ring. But no sooner than that is over, a new complication arises - one in the form of Natasha Radinov, a former KGB agent, now assassin-for-hire. Radinov has already taken care of the inside man in the gun ring, and now has her sights set on Rally and May!
This OVA series, according to a special on the DVD, is possibly the most extensively-researched in history. Much of the production crew traveled from Japan in order to get location shots for the show, as well a visiting the Illinois Police Academy - and an actual gunshop, a rare treat for people living in gun-controled Japan.
Let me know what you think.

AW Update c. 9/29/08
Mushi mushi hazu- A quick update of my ff Angel Wings for ya. Just posted both sites Ch 26 'A Nefarious Plot' or 'Aizu (Eyes) In the Shadows' and Ch 27 to come soon. Some old tomos and a new one coming real soon. Here's a hint: think pirates! That's about it for me for now gang. SFN/SYS/JM/KB/KYSOTI/Toodles-K&K
PS- Animonday at 11 PM ET tonight on Sci Fi Channel has two eppys of Gurren Lagann followed by MD Geist an OVA about a giant robot out to ya know- annihilate the world!
Not much anime on tv besides ComcastOnDemand which has some but not a really great selection this time around.
IFC is bringing (it is so rumoured anyhow) Hellgirl to weeknights at 8 PM ET. The animeontv schedule just posted has HG in Gunslinger Girl's Friday timeslot at 11:30 PM ET but that ain't set in concrete folks.
Here's our viewing schedule for SE Pa around Philly for the week-
Sunday- No Anime at all.
Monday- Sci Fi Animonday (see above)
Tuesday through Thursday- No Anime at all.
Friday- IFC has Hellgirl or Gunslinger Girl at 11:30 PM ET
Sat- Naruto on CN at 10:30 PM followed by Bleach at 11 PM and FMA at 11:30 PM on AS.
COD has a few good animes and several so so ones for free and some others not so good but not for the kiddies kind on pay per view.
Arigatou be to Kami for the internet where if ya look long and hard enough you will find good quailty anime at great prices for home videos.
Fansubs galore to DL and view but I do not do that even with legit DL eppys. I am not that PC literate yet.
Seems there's a big todo going around about the scarcity all of a sudden of my Angels' stuff especially the always hard to find original 26 eppy DP series which is only available subbed. Of course I have it albeit on VHS rather than DVD. In fact all my Angels' videos are on VHS. Why don't I get 'em on DVD too? Too danged expensive and anyhow they're hard to get ahold of now. Read all about it at YG's dirtypair2 Angels club.
Gotta split so it's SFN/SYS/JM/KB/KYSOTI and toodles no wait I forgot- Fiat is offering limited edition sports cars patterned after the ones used by Lupin III. Ford I recall did something similar when they offered an updated version of the Shelby Cobra with supercharger and it was somewhat like the one used by Rally Vincet (Cat) and Minnie Mae Hopkins (Kitten aka the Blonde Bomber) of the Gunsmith Cats! That's all so it's TTFN-K&K

Sayonara for a little while
Just to let you good folks know that The keiman will be offline for a few weeks until I get my home PC fixed. I may use the ones in the library near my home dunno yet. I no longer work for Landamerica as of today. The business being so mucked up thanks to the Bushes (Jeb's OK- I like him) and the Johnny Macs and the Sarah Palins that several of us at LA have been terminated/laid off. Unfortunately that included me. Arigatou Kami for the web though. I sure as jigoku won't be bored eh?

Looks like a great series but I dunno if I'll get it yet. Maybe I will just wait and see eh? Vol 4 of PS was just released. Looks a lot like the old Alchemy Army from FMA especially those uniforms. Can't tell whether or not Alice is in a mini or pants from the pix. Wonder if TangSooPap has a doll website for PS? She's a cute kid.
I'll miss you guys and gals but it's only temporary, I promise. Looks like Ch 27 of AW is it for awhile though. I got a Geek Squad how-to book and I'm gonna fix my computer at home and get this- I am gonna try and get published but as a book not a fanficcy. And I'll get paid for my hard work. Some sites pay one to write reviews for anime, movies, tv shows and such- there's another possibility or I may get into some other field of endeavour or I might take early retirement (59 but feel like 15) or I could perhaps work from home eh? So it ain't good by tomos watashi. It's just auf wiedersehen or sayonara for the Keiman for now. KYSOTI/JM/KB/SYS/SFN/Toodles-K&K

I’m not sure how to describe this series – but I’ll try...
Excel Excel happens to be the most devoted – and the most manic – member of the organization ACROSS. In fact, aside from her partner Hyatt and her leader Illpalazzo, they happen to be the ONLY members of ACROSS! Well anyway, Excel is entirely devoted to her leader, whose ultimate goal is world domination – but because of a lack of funds, they’re going to settle for the city of ‘F’. Aside from that, Excel’s partner Hyatt has another problem – namely spontaneous dying and returning to life!
All through the series, Excel and Hyatt have to content with various things like part-time jobs, plans that don’t go right, starving (good thing they have Menchi, Excel’s dog/emergency food supply), not to mention trying to contend with an erratic storyline which is under the influence of Nabeshin, the series’ director (based on real-life director Shinichi Wantanabe), lovesick lesbian androids, a public safety official with a phony mustache, their next-door neighbors and the like. It’s a wonder why Koshi Rikdo (creator of Excel Saga) authorized the various story plots before each episode (25 of them turned out to be failures, the last one was the only success).
A note about the vid below – this is the ending theme of ‘Excel Saga’, ‘Menchi’s Bolero’. Pay attention to the hand above the poor mutt.
