Gave Blood and Got Flu Shot in The Same Day
Have you ladies (those who get them) had your flu shot yet? This is a must have for me every year, ever since I was a nurse. I know that I come in physical contact in close quarters with too many ill people in the winter months. So I am on of the first in line for my shot.
As for giving blood, the last couple of times I gave my iron was off (too low) by two points and I could not give. Boy did I hate that. I love to donate blood and when I can't, I feel badly. So, I closely followed the instructions and did not drink coffee for a couple of days (coffee gets in the way of the absorption of iron in the body)prior to my giving and I was able to finally give again yesterday.
I guess it's the small things in life that make me happy.

I love Dancing with the Stars. If you have watched it, you have seem Susan Lucci. I am just going wow, she is 62. I wish I looked that good. So what is your favorite show?
