Hey, just wanted to let you know that per the original contest post, the winner would be selected via a "grand drawing." In order to be entered into the drawing we required the photo to be of a "wii pose."
Here is a transcript of that original post:
"How do you win it? Show us your moves! We want to see your best Wii pose. That's right, if you play Wii, send us a photo of your winningest form! If you don't have a Wii, use a prop (bowling ball, baseball bat, tennis racquet) take a photo and send it to us.
The sweepstakes will run from June 23rd - July 23rd. All photos will be entered into a grand drawing for the Wii system to be held on July 24th."
I had no idea that a 'grand' drawing was a random drawing. Never thought of it. Thanks for the explanation for the criteria.
I think some wondered what happened since the contest ended on the 23rd, with the 'grand drawing' on the 24th that clearly didn't happen. Just seemed odd to hype it so much and then have members wondering what was going on.
I donated my Wii to the senior center in my town last March because, well, they just couldn't find one anywhere and I'm usually too busy to play much in the spring and early summer. Then when I decided that I really missed it, I couldn't find one either! But I think my donation karma kicked in, and I stumbled upon one last night and picked it. WooooooHoooooooo!
For those who still are having trouble finding one, don't forget to check the small stores that sell new and used games, etc., and if you have a store like Big Lots or something like it, you might just be surprised to find one; that's how I found mine last night. They are also available on ebay, and most of those come with the second set of controllers which are practically a necessity. Speaking of which...why doesn't Nintendo include a second set of controllers?

I truly wish everyone who entered would have wow a Wii.
