And you think it's a revelation that political parties and candidates use the media to get out their talking points? This has been going on for years. The best at it was President Clinton.
A, no Sea. This is news because this is the first time a whole network that claimed Journalistic non bias was given a script on what to say and what to report. And it could be grounds for an investigation being that this coercion of the media is Constitutionally illegal. This is not the last you will hear of this. The only other media network guilty of this kind of behavior is called Pravda.
Charles, do you watch Fox? Do you ever watch O'Rielly, or Brit Hume, or Alan Colmes? You and I have had some disagreements but I never thought you to be gullable. Show me some fact other than NPR to back up your accusations, or is it just opinion and supposition? Ask yourself if they are so biased, why do they have the largest increase in viewership?
Somebody want to tell me what the heck Seabury is talking about? This is not a link to NPR so obviously Seabury did not go there.
I think he got me confused with Tripp.
Sorry. MSNBC. Check out these links if you are interested in some facts.

No facts here that discredit the report of Fox noise Bias to the White House
Scott Mc Cellan has already been shown to be wrong on many little things in his book. He had very little input and very little contact with white house policy and the people making it. His book was written to make the little guy feel more important and to make money, both of which is being accomplished. If you choose to beleive him, you are simply believing in a person willing to say anything to get a buck and stroke his own ego.
I don't happen to believe that Fox is in bed with the white house, but lets just say they do get their briefings and talking points from the WH... does the fact that the three major stations have been proven to give huge amounts of time to Obama and little time to McCain in covering these two make them any different? What information you get from them means you do not get much information on any other person than Obama and so your voting will be uninformed. (I mean if you were to go only on the news that came out of the three major stations, which I realize no one here at Freedom Matters would do. I am sure that all intelligent folks here cover all the stations including Fox and CNN to be sure they are getting the whole picture and not just some left wing babble.)
Have you also seen the reports on the amount of money donated to the DEM. party and the Rep party by employees of the big stations? What does that tell you about skewed facts and information?
You are welcome to believe what ever person says what ever they say, but there are three to one against Scott and what he claims he did, heard and said with all the people he worked with in the WH. I find that more telling than his single voice in a book to make money.
Astrid
FYI Charles. Yesterday July 29 Scott McClellan called in to the O'reilly radio show and admitted that what he said about O'reilly and Fox was not true. Truth is he was baited into saying this by Chris Mathews. It's true he lied.
