How fair and balanced is the main stream media?

We have the main stream media telling us that they are not biased in their coverage of the Presidential Campaign, but look at these numbers and see what you think.

And what link to NPR are you talking about? I have not used a link to NPR on the post.

Charles when did I say I felt I was being victimized? Why would you say "the world doesn't revolve around my navel" whatever that means? And Charles when you say crass things like this why, wouldn't I take it personally? Why can't you disagree without name calling?

You made an accusation and I responded in kind.

"Charles I suppose your are incinuating that if I watch Fox and if Fox as you say is right biased than that automatically makes me right biased.
SeaBury"

And when I explain that this is not the case you come back with this.

"Charles when did I say I felt I was being victimized? Why would you say "the world doesn't revolve around my navel" whatever that means? And Charles when you say crass things like this why, wouldn't I take it personally? Why can't you disagree without name calling?
Seabury" the phrase " world revolving around your navel " simply means one who is self centered and believes that all focus is on him.

You take everything that disagrees with your opinion as a personal attack. To me that sounds like you see yourself as the victim You've done this before.

So lets make it simple. How ever you perceive it is how I meant it. If you feel that my replies are personal attacks so be it. Crass? LMAO believe me you have not heard crass.

For those who wonder, National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting System are funded by the public. You may imagine that the American public is made up of a very diverse group of individuals. Before anyone makes assumptions about media outlets, making assumptions is rarely a good idea, I suggest they, at least, read the mission statements of said outlets.

I know that we each have outlets we go to for information. In this thread Investor's Business Daily is where the original link leads to. When given links, partially because I am not willing to accept anything at face value but more because I love knowledge and reading gives me this, I always try to research links in an effort to figure out why they exist. Investor's Business Daily is owned and operated by Data Analysis, Inc. and, unlike NPR or PBS, relies upon advertising to fund its' reporting. They, Data Analysis, Inc. and Investor's Business Daily, have mission statements as well.

'IBD’s editorial mission has always been to provide clarity and more relevance to issues that impacts investors and business people.' This is to the 800,000 readers of IBS. William O’Neil, the man who owns IBD is a stock broker and the world's, as well as America's, economy holds fast his vested interest. That would certainly cause me to question his reporting on politics.

What is really amazing to me is that Obama has this very charismatic campaign and McCain seems to be sleep walking and they are still even in the polls. I say even, because I am averaging, some have the former up and some have the latter up.
News companies are not dumbies, Obama is more interesting to their viewers and since they are in the business of making money, he is who they are going to focus on.
I understand that, but then I wonder why Fox news cable is so far ahead of any other news station since it chooses to be unbiased. Sounds like the public would rather have an honest opinion or else many are just in denial about what they want and want someone else to make up their mind for them.
Either way, you get what you pay (vote) for.
