McSame is actually Just Like Bush

On this morning on ABC's Good Morning America, John McCain made yet another geography gaffe, claiming it was a "very hard struggle" to combat extremists on the "Iraq / Pakistan border."

The Problem: Iraq and Pakistan don't share a border.

Okay, maybe he meant Iran and not Iraq. And he was talking about the Palestinians and not Pakistanis. How will we ever know???

Guess it also adds more credence to the notion that we invaded Iraq because Bush got it confused with Iran so maybe we will see another George in the White House invading Austria because he thought it was Australia. If it wasn't about invading countries and killing people, it might even be funny.

God, don't you love to see McSame criticizing the intelligent guy for making mistakes?

. . .not to mention his response to Katy Couric on the evening news. . .

When asked why he considers Iraq the central front in the war on terror, McCain's response was that Osama bin Laden said so! He expanded upon this loopy reasoning by claiming that he (bin Laden) said, "Go to the land of two rivers. . ."

Now, let's think about that for a minute. . . You're the most wanted terrorist on the planet; and you're hiding in the mountains of Afghanistan, with a few thousand U.S. and U.N. troops beating the rocks looking for you. Are you really going to announce to the world, "Here I am! Come & find me here in Tora Bora!"?

And this man was an OFFICER?!?! This fruitcake graduated from Annapolis?!?

Hey, maybe we need to cut the old guy some slack when it comes to thinking clearly.

As I reach the age of 60, I am having some difficulty with remembering some things and having the high level of energy that I had maybe 5 years ago.

Just like Bush, if it had not been for family power McCain would have never made it through Annapolis. He had a reputation for being a rather nasty fellow.

OK. I admit to laughing . . . ruefully . . . it’s either that or dissolve in tears. Then, more such laughter, reading “When asked why he considers Iraq the central front in the war on terror, McCain's response was that Osama bin Laden said so!” Kind of a variation on the “You are here” campus and mall maps.

But, ScottS, you aren't trying to become president.

I think McCain is the illegitimate love child of Bush And Reagan~senility and stupidity in one pretty package.
