I'm a panic eater. The more tense things in my life become - the more I eat. I wish I could find a creative outlet for the tension.
And I talk to my machines - the car, the washing machine, the dishwasher, the computer. You name it, I talk to it. My coworkers often ask if it does any good.
Maybe not, but talking to the machine makes it easier for me to deal with it when it's not performing as I wish it would.
It's certainly better than kicking it. Although I was once driven to kicking a car. I found it was an easier way to get help than asking for it. The gentlemen on the curb who saw me do it were so startled they came right away - whether to save me or the car I don't know.
My bad habits are too bad to talk about in mixed company!
I'm still looking for my good habits, my friend.
Newslady, I am so gald you said that cause I talk to machines too. My kids think I am crazy at times but it does help - ALSO they don't answer you back if you are yelling a t them - tee hee.
Sam, I can't imagine any habit that YOU have that would cause our eyebrows to raise a notch or two. Morning to you friend. K

You're so kind, K.
That's why it's a pleasure to call you, friend.
Guilty, I not only talk to office machines I talk to my car as well. To this point none of them have responded but it helps. Rather that than beat them up which is what I would like to do often times.
Too funny Jean - does your car have a name? Mine was Ol' Girl(my truck) but now I have this lil' shit of a car and just call it LIL' SHIT!

My, my! Such unlady-like behavior! Heehee! Sounds like me! My worst habit is being to bossy and too precise! It drives me nuts to hear people say things wrong or be redundant! I drive my kids up the wall sometimes correcting their grammer and they tease me about it. I see people on TV say something like "I also did that too!" and I want to yell at them! And the picture of the kitten saying "I love this string" is another one! It's YARN for crying out loud! See! There I go! Sorry! The saying "Lord, keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth!" should be tatooed on my forehead! Guess it's part of my ADHD but I try to keep it under control! I love you guys and if I ever offend I'm very sorry! I hope you'll forgive me and realize that sometimes I just can't help it! Love and hugs, Dana
I'd like to be more organized when it comes to the mail.I let mail, books and newspapers collect all week.Guess where they end up====Yep on the coffee table from one end to the other and my Sundays are spent reading, sorting and keeping or shredding.
Am I the only guilty one?
guilty again. I do the same thing and I hate it when it piles up but I'm always in too much of a hurry to tackle it when I get home from work.
Plus, I eat way too much of all the wrong things. I know it is bad for me yet, I do it anyway.
AND, I've got an exercise machine that I need to use but don't.
AND, I stay on eons waaaaaay to much.
