ROCKY ROAD FROSTING

1/4 c. melted butter
2-1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
3 tsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
1 c. chopped walnuts
1-1/2 c. miniature marshmallows

Combine butter, sugar, milk and vanilla in a bowl. Add egg; beat until well blended. Add chocolate; mix well. Stir in walnuts and marshmallows.
Makes enough for 2 layers.

ROCKY ROAD FROSTING

3 Tbs. cocoa
3 Tbs. butter
3-1/2 c. powdered sugar
7 Tbs. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1 c. sm. marshmallows
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Melt over low heat, melt butter and cocoa. Mix powdered sugar, salt, vanilla, cocoa and butter mixture together adding milk for smooth spreading consistency. Stir in marshmallows and nuts.

ROCKY ROAD FROSTING
Will frost a 9x13 inch cake.

1-1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. water
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional

In a small saucepan, combine first 4 ingred; stir over low heat until chocolate and marshmallows are melted. Cool slightly; add vanilla.
Beat until smooth, thick and spreadable; stir in nuts. Spread of top of cooled cake.
