He is a member of another group here... Better Photography. He recently posted there. You might be able to see some of his photos there.
I got the impression he was unhappy about something here. I don't know what would be not too like here, I think this is a wonderful group and enjoy all of the posts and photos.

I have heard some were pm'ing him accusing him of being that guy who has already had a couple of incarnations using stolen photographs. Wasn't it Jim, and then Kris? In this case I know someone who knew him personally and he was not the same guy, but it put him off and so he decided to take some time off.
Having been accused of stealing photos myself by some unknown soul, I can vouch for how frustrating it can feel to have your veracity put in question. In my case I always post my photographs on certain sites with the exif data imbedded to disprove those accusations. I think though it does serve as a caution not to go on witch hunts based on the fact we have been burned before. Use Tin Eye or one of the other services to verify suspected suspected plagiarized photos. Then let a manager confront them, not assuming guilt, but with the idea of letting them explain the discrepancy. Because I can say right now I came very close to saying to hell with EONS all together when I was accused.
If he does return, I hope someone will pull him over and let him know there will always be small minded idiots out there, and remember a lot more of us are not like that at all. Oh and one more reason why I have a copy filed in a couple of places of every single RAW image I have ever shot.
I'm very disappointed to hear that a member was treated in this manner. I hope members will refrain from tossing accusations around, either publicly or in a PM to the member in question. If someone suspects a group member has violated Eons TOU, please contact the group manager or moderator. We will investigate and report any violations to Eons for further action.
Oh my gosh...just read the news here....so I went to PM him and he is no longer an active Eons member..
Yes.. he will truly be missed and I hope that he will return in good time...
One doesn't truly know the real reason he has left but I shall put in good faith that it was work related.
So I will keep his photos in my two groups in hopes that he will return soon to us..
