Weeds? Oh, I overlooked the weeds admiring those beautiful peppers. The weeds aren't bothering the peppers...the peppers look mighty healthy....Carol

They look ready right now. I don't wait for them to get red since some blight or damage occurs by that time plus the more you pick the more flowers you get and they turn into more peppas! They are great little plants.

Healthy and SCRUMPTIOUS! AND it looks like they have a little bit of veins/scoring/ Oh, you know, those little scar like wrinkles which I equate (perhaps incorrectly, but nonetheless equate) with HOTTER than shiny blemishless skins. Hmmmmm... is this a topic? What do yall think? If you DON'T grow your own, and you're on the look out for the ones you THINK will be hotter than the rest in the store, what criteria do YOU use???
