Update on Domino's new home :-))

Update on Domino's new home :-))
Here's the report I got from Katrina - the girl that adopted Domino -
===============
Hi,

Domino's first night was ok. He was understandibly a bit scared. He is fine now. On Sunday he walked around the house quite a bit but was skittish when anyone approached him. Today though, he lets me go to him and pick him up and he is following me around the house. Also, he will come to me when I call his name.

The two dogs are getting used to each other. Remy is trying to prove that he is the boss of the house. He keeps taking Domino's toys and chew bones. They do run around outside and play with each other. Domino loves the back yard. Anytime I say "outside" he runs to the back door.

I will keep in touch and let you know of Domino's progress.

Katrina

When you consider that Domino spent the first 4 or 5 years of his life in a cage only being taken out to be used for breeding, you realize just how much progress this sweet pom has made. I am so happy that Katrina adopted him - I think she is just what Domino needs. It sounds like they are already bonding and I know he will benefit from more one on one attention.

It's so nice to be in contact and know how he's doing. I love hearing about new adoptions and hearing of great families taking in new pets. You must be pleased!

Thanks everyone - I love doing pom rescue - and it always gives me a warm feeling when one of these little critters is adopted into a good home. Domino was a special case since he had such a rough start in life. I know he is going to do well with Katrina - they bonded instantly (probably helped by him being a little miffed because I gave him a bath and trimmed his toenails the day before)
