Art blogs

Do you have your own art blog? Or know of any interesting ones? I am trying to list everyone's art blogs on my blog site so there will be a quick link there for anyone that is visiting my blog- and for me to see whatever you post there from time to time. So far I have Smitty's and Rose's as well as some other artists I know. I've listed a couple of artists' Fine Art America site. I could list your Ebay page too if you want. Not that I get all that many people to my site . . . but ya never know! I know Janefrances has a great blog and need to find the link to it. Is there anyone else that has a blog???? Please let me know here or by PM.

Here's a link to mine:

Thanks,
Rudy

PS - and if you're so inclined, please list my blog on your site to if there is a way to do that. Sure would appreciate it!

I've found some really interesting art blogs -- that include art instruction as well as insight into the artist's process.

Gurney's Journey: ttp://gurneyjourney.blogspot.com
>> been following links and reading up on composition techniques like wheel spokes and clustering.
Rose's Art Lines: view link
Crackskull Bob: view link
Karen Winters - A Creative Journey: view link
Have Dogs Will Travel: view link
Katherine Tyrell - Making a Mark: view link
Nicole Caulfield Art Journal: view link

Enjoy. I know I am.

I just linked up everybody except Richard - when you get a chance give me the actual link. These are really great blogs, so I hope everybody checks them out.

I've got Richard linked now too! So, anybody else that's interested, just let me know. There's a few links on my blog to artists that do a painting every day - they're small - like 6" x 6" or no bigger than 10" x 10" - in oils or acrylics. A couple of them that I remember are Edward Gordon and Karin Jurek (I think that's her name). Their paintings sell almost as quickly as they post them on their blogs. They also sell through Ebay. They've built quite a following.

Could someone explain what blogs are all about. How are people attracted to a personal blog? Does it help to sell artwork if it's an art blog? . . . I've joined FineArtAmerica, but even there I don't really understand how people are led to my profile. I haven't much hope of even recovering my $30 listing fee. LOL. I think their beautiful profiles might be 'feel good' things. What do you think?
