I "MET" JONATHAN KELLERMAN
I hope this is OK to post here. I just wanted to share how a really big deal, New York Times mega-bestselling author like Jonathan Kellerman can reach out to the "little guy" (or gal, in my case).
He emailed me out of the blue that he had read my new book and really enjoyed it. (He said he laughed out loud so much, his wife gave him funny looks.) I have no idea how he even heard about it.
I just wanted to share with all my bookaholic friends something personal about an author many of you have probably read; that someone so established would take the time to reach out to a newbie. It really was incredibly nice of him (even more so because, of course, I then asked for a blurb and he gave me a great one. It's a big deal for authors to give blurbs, so this was really especially fabulous of him).
From now on, I'm not reading his books via the library - I'll be buying them! And, if I ever get "big" enough (not in the Weight Watcher's sense), I'll email back and offer to blurb HIM.
