Hi agree. But can I say this, please delete your whole name. It's not a good thing. We can lose weight together but you just don't want stalks in the meantime.

Assuming that someone is 46 lbs. overweight then a better goal is 2 pounds a MONTH. If they want to lose it AND KEEP IT OFF then 2 pounds a month is more attainable...but it needs to come off steadily. There's a whole bunch of reasons for this, but for proof all we have to do is look at the thousands of people who have lost weight in a splash and then put it all back on and then some.
Cut 500 calories per day to lose a pound a week....to get to 2 pounds cut 1000 calories PER DAY....
Cutting 250 calories per day will yield 2 pounds a month. 250 calores per day will not be missed...1000 is another story.

That fits in with my own healthy eating program, walking in the morning, see my new motivational therapist, and breaking down blocks to change lifelong habits and messages from my subconscious and unconscious.
Battles from within as well as from without.
But we have great positive energy and support here.

I'm up for the challenge. I'll set my goal at 1# per week and if I lose 2#'s per week I'll be thrilled. Good luck everyone.
