Thats one question I've never considered...but if our souls are a light source vibrating at a different level, I would think that barriers such as that would pose no problem. Hmmm! Something to ponder :}

There are metaphysical laws at work that create the division.
Only through experiential knowledge gained between death and birth and how we navigate consciously between the "Five Bardos", taught in the Tibetan Book of the Dead, can we begin to excercise our conscious will between the veils.
You can, through other practices render the divisions between parallel universes in this reality but takes the process knowledge and experiencial knowledge for a temporary lifting or parting the parallels.
