We saw similar documentaries on Clinton and he still got re-elected. People just don't want to see or hear this stuff or they excuse it away.
I don't know, Arkie. The Swiftboaters showed reality against what Kerry (He served in Vietnam, you know) said vs. what was his other positions. They were rather effective.
I agree but there are a lot more similarities between Clinton and Obama than Clinton or Obama and Kerry. Clinton and Obama are media favorites. Kerry never was that much in the favor of the media. Clinton and Obama seem to have a charisma that Kerry just never had. People seem to be so in awe of Clinton and Obama that they just don't care what they say or what they stand for (if they stand for anything at all). Kerry never enjoyed that kind of popularity. Don't get me wrong, I hope it does work. I just don't hold out much hope at the moment.
I tell you what, this charisma attributed to both Clinton and Obama, must exist, but I don't see it.
With both, I see arrogance.
I wonder, if Obie's elected, if he'll be seen on that special day when he's sworn in as "first black to.." if I'll witness what I did of Clinton on his special morning, as he stood outside their residence before the ceremony:
"WTF are you doing, we're gonna be late!"
Ah, memories!
I tell you what, this charisma attributed to both Clinton and Obama, must exist, but I don't see it.
I think the above is pretty much on the mind of the media. After all Obama, had a hard time beating Hillary in the latter primaries. Hillary doesn't have nearly the charisma as my dog does, but she still beat him in lot of key states.
