Prepaid debit cards

What do you all think of these for teens? I just got one for my 14 year old. Her father and I deposit money into it for her to get her "stuff". I'm hoping it will teach her some budgeting skills and responsible use of money. She feels cool because it's like a credit card with her name on it. I like it because I can track her spending on line (she can too). What's your thoughts on them?

Has Anyone Else Noticed.....?

That since yesterday the pages are very slow loading, sometimes to the point where you get the "page loading timed out" message, and that some of the graphics that people are posting are not showing up?
It would be nice to see these two problems addressed.

Boomers in the Parks

How can the parks accommodate aging boomers?

Y'all know I'm a Disneyland frequent flyer. I have noticed an ever-increasing number of peeps motoring-around in small electric vehicles. Dland is small compared to WDW, but it doesn't lack for guests. The electric vehicles plus the strollers are causing gridlock. All have a right to be there; and I'll tell you right now I wish I had one of those electric vehicles. I will wish it more as time goes by.

There are a lot of feisty boomers who will want to continue to get around in the parks. What can be done to accommodate us? Any suggestions??

Endless Way (2002)

This film won:

Best Actress, Shanghai International Film Festival
Best Picture, Best Director, Shanghai Film Critics Award
Silver People's Choice Award, India International Film Festival

This film is a visual poem, just simply beautiful. The story quietly tells the hardships of bringing precious drinking water to a Hunan mountain village. All the villagers---men AND women, have to help, carrying the heavy water through a narrow, rocky pass to this mountain village. The main characters are Ah-ming and A-Shui, they love each other but Ah-ming is forced into an arranged marriage. Ah-ming's wife eventually leaves, and Ah-shui is forced to go the city for a while to find work. The story is told from the point of view of a visitor involved in a difficult dam project to help the village.

GOOD MORNING FRIENDS

I'm on the road again today to work so I'll leave it to all of my friends here to do "NOTHING" for me again. See you this evening.
