It is sunny, bright, the coffee is good, bunnies are out in my yard, and God is with us.
What is blessing you today?
I was touched by the outpouring of support following my uncle's death. The funeral director, the minister, the friends and family were king and offered help.He was buried with full military honors. A local VFW gave me a Bible in a beautiful polished cedar box as a token of appreciation. The state police who had been asked to block traffic as the procession pulled out on a busy highway saluted the hearse as it passed. An honor guard fired a 2 gun salute. Then the color guard meticulously folded the flag and presented it to my uncle's cousin who also served in the military. All in all, it was moving, inspiring, and a wonderful display of how veterans are respected.
The Lord is with us in all we do.I found this verse and it helped me.
"The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. "Psalm121:8.
