Free BBQ In Omaha Report
About two weeks ago I posted that we had won a $25 gift certificate to the Big Horn Mountain Barbecue. After checking on line they had a bad review which one of our members mentioned, well, after all the storms we've had they finally opened up and we when there Saturday afternoon and ordered take out for our evening dinner.
We ordered 1 rack of baby backs, sauce on the side, sides of baked beans and slaw.
Let me mention there are new reviews on their site which are much better.
We reheated the ribs and beans, the verdict: great BBQ.
The ribs were fall off the bone tender, with a nice taste of smoke, not over powering. the beans were a little dry but very tasty and the slaw, not mayo base, was sweet tasting and very plesant..all in all, we will try to win more certificates again..total price for the meal was $24.65.
