Wow, there are so many. I guess Robert B Parker, but there are a lot of close runner ups. My all time favorite who passed away some time ago, was Ken Grimwood, but, sigh..no more , and I read all the few he did before his untimely death.
Jan Karan I loved her Mitford series, looking forward to Holly Springs series.
