Here's another writing game based on a theater game we play to get warmed up. Here's how it works.

I offer the first sentence.

example: I went to the store.

You offer the next one, starting with 'yes and' and building on what the sentence before you said.

example: Yes, and on the way I saw the strangest thing.

So then the next person would write something like:

Yes and I thought it was a ufo.

Got it?

So here's the starting sentence:

Donnie and Agnes won second prize in the annual mashed potato cook-off.
