Nature Experiences
My Uncle had a Century Farm (100) farm at Wisconsin Dells, which we enjoyed every holiday and summer. It is a experience that will last a lifetime for me - with ice cold well water. We learned alot about Nature there the life and death part also.
A quick note on one experience not on the farm where there were many, but at a apartment I lived in where the garages were in another area before the apartment. Well, I drove up into the garage, and locked it and as I walked up to the apartment I met a skunk. We looked eye to eye and in that moment I thought I would be blasted, but nope I wasn't, he walked one way and I walked the other, as though we both had respect for each other. I was in awe of such a moment and will always remember that encounter.
Another one is the apartment I live in now - it has a tree in front of it and a squirrel every year would come to that tree and looked into the apartment window and looking at him I was overpowered by love for that squirrel. This year he came and to my surprise brought with him another squirrel. It was like he was introducing me to him or her, since I don't know the difference between the two. He wanted to let me know he found a companion, which was so cool. Waiting for the wee ones now.
And the last one was when my Grandmother was alive she had a crow for a pet - he would come to her kitchen window that was wide open without a screen and sit there and watch her cook and every now and then she would give him some food. She had a way with that crow and when he was done and got bored he would make his sounds and leave, but would always be there at dinner the next day. It was awesome!
