Plateau!

I guess that's where I'm at! Luckily I still have to remind my self to eat but it looks like I'm stuck!! I look like one of those wriggly dogs.. I hide with dresses + 3/4 sleeves.. But so far grand total lost 215 lbs + no More Diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesteral!!! My taste buds have changed + I do a piece or two of sugar free candy when I feel like "sweets" I feel good + I'm glad I had the surgery! 2 yr anniversary May 06

Wow! Janet, that is amazing. I am waiting for my insurance approval. My PCP can't seem to get all my paperwork in at one time. I hope my progress is as good as yours. Congratulations on your losing victory.

Janet,

congratulations on regaining your life! don't worry about the plateau - just keep doing what you're doing, remember protein first, drink lots and lots of water and step up the movement a bit.
i'm almost 3 years out, had my panis removed and a tummy tuck two months ago. i am 8 pounds away from my goal and have lost over 180 pounds since the day of surgery.
before you start having your plastics, build your core and leg muscles. the better shape you're in physically before surgery, the easier time you'll have after surgery.
again - CONGRATS!! you've worked hard to get where you are!

That's fantastic! You have done great and I know I am stating the obvious when I say that plateaus are to be expected. Sounds like you are doing everything right! Debbie
