Ok My Wonderful EONS Friends and Sistas

I had my mamogram on July 3rd, and I just got the dreaded letter from the company that does the test. "the results of your recent test needs further evaluation, contact your physician who will be sent a copy of this test result for your next steps in medical care."

Every year I get my exam, I hate the wait until the letter. It's always been good. I think I have told you all, I don't handle things like this well.

So, I need your prayers as often as you want to give them, until I find out what exactly is going on. I know it could be something benign, but I just hate getting test results like this.

I will keep you informed. And I will still be active on EONS. I feel great and don't seem to have any medical problems that I know of.

Louise, you know its probably something benign. Try not to worry about it if you can. I,ll ask up a prayer for you anyway.

I am so upset right now, I can't stand it. And of course I am home alone right now. I just hate the unknown.

Louise I got that same letter once and it turned out to be nothing.
On the 15 of this month I have a physical coming up too.
I hope yours is nothing like mine was, now I face another test.

Try not to worry. I got that same dreaded letter a few years ago on my right breast. It was just a cyst and a needle aspiration took care of it. Then the next year it was my left breast. It was also just a cyst. I was really scared that time, because I could feel the lump, but the lump went away on its own. I just have to have mammograms every six months now.

Then I got the dreaded letter after a pap test. That also turned out to be nothing. I had to have paps every six months for two years, but now I'm back to yearly.

Also, if you've been having regular mammograms, you'll will probably ok anyway because anything that develops will be caught early.

You'll be fine.

Thanks for all of the support ladies. I really need it because I am a horrible patient. I simply hate to be sick in any way. I am feeling your love and prayers, and I thank you. I have told my spouse and he absolutely does not know what to do and now he is reading the paper and having his evening cocktail. I love him dearly, but he is a man and has no idea what this news might mean to a woman.

It is the fear of the unknown, which scares us the most.
I do understand your worry. All of us would feel the same way you do.

We are here to help you and be your friend and to listen.
