Hello from a new member

Don't see too many folks from Florida. I'm a new rider (about a year) and find it's difficult to tell others (non-riders) how it feels to ride a motorcycle. You just have to be there to understand!!! My younger brother owns 5 bikes and got me interested a few years ago when I started looking for one to buy. Older brother just recently started "practicing" and now thinking about taking the safety course and looking for a bike. Since I'm vertically challenged (5'1"), my 650 Suzuki fits me just fine - nice balance, not too heavy, enough power, lots of torque.

hello ! glad to see you have found the feeling one gets from having/riding a bike. as you stated - you have to be there to know how it feels - and it does feel great. Welcome to the wonderful world of bikers ! Dave J

welcome to cycling! Up here in Wisconsin is where real bikers live & ride. After you become proficient in Florida, come on up here and see what riding in the snow is like.

Seriously, be careful, wear a helmet, always, and have fun. I just got back from a 5000 mile run, write me if you like.
