It makes sense now will come the isues of "bases" that will remain for civilian and "oil protection" all the thing that allow other counries to view us as imperialistic. I still would like to know what this country will geographically look like? where will the Kurds end up, or the marsh arabs.

Ironic yes, but unexpected no. like Germany and Japan where those governments love us, but ask a grass roots Germans or Japanese individual what they think of American bases and you get a different view.
