Princess is borderline I guess...she's three pounds overweight which places her in the full size as far as weight is concerned but she should weigh ten or less so I guess she's a mini. Mini is what I paid for at least LOL
I've heard that mine are considered tweenies. They both weigh 13 lbs. I thought I was getting minis also, but I'm not going to give them back now. lol
My ex-Mother in Law had a mini that weighed 6 lbs. Her name was Gidget. She is at Rainbow Bridge now.

The one I have now, Otto, and the other three (Putzi, Puter, and Pfeffer) I had - now at the Rainbow Bridge, too - all "tweenies." I had never heard that term before, but it fits my 13 pounders.
Hmmm - seems there are three body sizes then. I wonder if they are bred that way or if its just individual variations.
TQ is a mini, 10 pounds. If he's even 1-2 pounds overweight, he looks fat. I will never forget bringing him home as a baby and putting him on the scale and he weighed only 3 pounds!
Oh, and yes Archer, I do believe there are 3 sizes. I heard the "tweenie" came about because a lot of people who thought they had bought "mini's" were ending up with doxies that weighed between 11 and 18 pounds, so they added the tweenie group.
Sounds like my Reesie is the tweeniest so far at a little over 9lbs.She is tiny but mighty!Just like most doxie's we know.
