Pet Owners Prefer McCain

Now here's a really important survey that shouldn't be overlooked. How do you feel?

WASHINGTON - If the presidential election goes to the dogs, John McCain is looking like best in show.

From George Washington's foxhound "Drunkard" to George W. Bush's terriers "Barney" and "Miss Beazley," pets are a longtime presidential tradition for which the presumed Republican nominee seems well prepared, with more than a dozen.

The apparent Democratic nominee Barack Obama, on the other hand, does not have a pet at home.

I saw this article this morning and thought "good grief". The sad thing is it really does make a difference to some people!

Being the owner of a cat, I totally concur with this survey's findings. After all, having a pet shows that one can have fun and is kind, outgoing. I inow now that McCain iz da man!

I would hate to be Obama's pet. One slip of the tongue or misplaced bite and I'm under the bus. He probably should get a chameleon so he can change the colors at a moments notice.

My two dogs definitely prefer McCain. In fact, Missy, the rowdy one, jumps up at the TV and barks hysterically any time Hillary or Obama are on the screen.

She is a very informed dog.

I polled my three puppies (they will always be puppies to me) and they agree that McCain is their favorite. They are especially impressed that he adopted a sick and homeless orphan. They think Obama looks like a firehydrant.
