Answer & Ask...
This idea came from another group manager who is doing the same in her group with much success. It sounded like fun, so I thought we'd try it. Basically, I will ask the first question, and the first person to reply will answer my question and ask one of their own. Kind of like 20 questions, but one at a time. Strictly small talk, basically one-liners, try to keep it fun. It would be easy to get off track if we all jumped on the same post, but let's see how it goes. OK, here's the first question:
Are you a morning person or night person?

Racism: Huge Issue in this Campaign
No matter what the polls say about Obama's lead, racism is an issue in this campaign.
The only way it will not be an issue is that white people admit that it’s an issue .... then do something about it!
Check out Richard Trumka ... a top AFL-CIO leader, a white man, who’s making a very blunt pitch to blue-collar white voters about “getting over” their racist attitudes ... and vote for Obama.

Racism has always been a fact of life in the U.S.A. and continues to be no matter how far we've alledgedly come.
It’s the “elephant in the middle of the country’s living room.” The single ugly thread interwoven through every aspect of U.S.A. culture and society. And the ONLY subject guaranteed to make white people so defensive, they can't even discuss it rationally.
Read and listen to Trumka “tell it like it is.”

Shameful Voting Fraud in Ohio and Elsewhere
Ohio Vote Fraud Likely 'On Massive Scale' And Pro-Obama Courtesy of Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner. As an Ohioan, I am appalled to see my state in the news with these allegations!

We have a county in Ohio with more registered voters than people of voting age. Local barbers are giving free haircuts for votes for Obama. There are organizations rounding up the homeless and paying them off and driving them to vote early (and often). "Vote early and often!" Ring a bell? Accounts of one voter being registered 16 times. The list goes on! How can any candidate or party justify this kind of dishonesty and fraudulent manipulation?

Almost embarrassing frugalness...
I heat my home and my hot water with heating oil, and as you know, heating oil has gone through the roof. I was trying to figure out a way to have cheaper energy bills. One day when I was boiling a whole chicken (electricity) to prepare a couple of meals, I got to thinking about the steam that was coming from the pot (think global warming...). I realized that a lot of the heat that was coming from the pot was going out of my exhaust fan, even though I had put a lid on the pot. I was curious about how long it would take to heat a pan of water from the heat that was escaping from the lid. So, I put a larger skillet on top of the smaller pot that I had put about 2 inches of water in. It heated up in no time! I poured that hot water into my dishpan and added a little dish soap and a bit of cold water. I was able to wash down my kitchen for free! Then, I was able to heat a couple of more skillets of water (probably 2 quarts) to wash some dishes in. After that, I started using recipes that would use a pot or Dutch oven that was smaller than my large skillet so that I could use my larger skillet for a lid and heat some extra hot water to do some dishes by hand. I have saved so much heating oil as a result! So, the next time you cook a pot of something, put another pot or skillet over the top of it for a lid and you'll get hot water that is essentially free because you have already paid for the heat that is going into the air or through your exhaust fan.
Question
What would you like to do, that you have never done before.
And do not say anything trite or boring?

For Those of You...
who are whispering and PMing each other about "poor Hop" and the "red-headed gold-digger," I can't even tell you how badly that hurt to know there are people here who I thought were my dear friends and they were busy speculating that I was weighing my options to pick the man who could do the most for me.
You surely don't know me then, and you missed the boat on this one. It took me a long time to make this decision and it was NEVER based on money! I had feelings I had to sort out and when they got sorted, there was my answer.
All I can say to you nay-sayers is wait and see. Give us a chance to merge our two lives together.
I have considered leaving Most Wanted because I don't know who feels this way about me, and who is really my friend!
But it sure did hurt to know that anybody saw me in that light.
