What is wrong with that picture? God G**! In this country it's NOT OK. Of course, soon it could be, but right now it's just not. When is murder of your own child ever OK? I guess I just don't want to believe that it's OK by Islamic law or whatever. Grrrrrr!
I don't think Americans have come to grips with the culture of the Middle Ages that we are facing because of our dependence on Mid-East Oil. When we talk about freedom of religion, we don't allow people to let their children die because they do not believe in doctors, we should not allow child abuse, like what is going on in the FLDS or the barbaric laws of Islamic law to be practiced in this country. We have to be a country of laws, that cover and protect all people equally. Honor has nothing to do with this killing and his religious beliefs should not be an excuse or defense.

Whenever I posted reference to an honor killing in the US, it was always dismissed as over-the-top anti-Islamic predjudice. I am glad that somehow the reporting of this one managed to slip through the cracks in the media that libs always try and close to keep the facts in the dark.
The snipers in the North East a few years back were both Muslims, but that fact was hidden by nearly all news outlets. Some try so hard to avoid the facts thinking that their discovery will somehow stir things up. My God, things are already stirred up and turning our heads makes them worse not better.
Somehow, someday, someway, somebody has got to listen and be courageous enough to face the truth head on about real Islam. I can hope anyway.
Some people have to live in denial...it is the only way that they can justify their worldview that everything is the fault of George W. Bush.
Islam is the Enemy...deal with it.

OK...Please show me one instance in the last century or so where any Organized Mainstream Religion has sent out organized hit squads to murder those who disagree with their Theology.
Show me one instance where they have rioted in the streets murdering and looting and burning.
Show me one instance where they specifically target and murder innocent women and children.
I could go on and on, but for many the Ostrich approach toward Islam is the only means they have to justify the silly worldview that every problem in the world is the fault of only America and George W. Bush.

At one time the KKK said they were doing the work of the Lord when they strung up a few "son's of Ham" in defiance of the law. They were not tolerated and neither should Islamic law be tolerated in America. IMHO, there is no place in the American justice system for this religious defense. The devil made him do it, plain and simple. But just watch some kook of a judge agree with the defense.
