Here is the way hubby and I see it. They are now saying oil will be 200.00 a barrel by the end of the year so here is what everone needs to consider, and add your in put to. Get rid of all your extra's you can't afford, boats, jet skis, big trucks..etc. Buy and small car with good gas milage. If you live in the country this is good, if not find a friend that does and invest in a cow, chickens, pig, etc..for food, start a garden as soon as spring comes, can can can you veggies, butcher, and fill up the freezer. Down size what you can and have a Garage sale, put every penny you can in saving, but not in the bank. Lock up everything you can because people are going to become desprate for anything the can steal to sell. Put a lock cap on your gas tank in your car. Buy a bicycle and ride it whenever you can, put some baskets on it for groceries. Stop smoking, if you want alcohol, make it. Buy fans, and turn off the air when you can, put in a wood burning stove to save on gas...Hmm we should of been doing all this for the last 40 yrs...it's not to late to start, Hippy's trip back to the 60's music link got me to really thinking, I loved the 60's. So what can you add to my crash of the dollar post?
