They pulled my tooth!

Hi, guys. I just got back from the vet. Mom took me in this morning for some X-rays and a cleaning. That's not too bad 'cause I sleep through all of it. BUT this time when I woke up, I was missing a front tooth! Mom said it had to come out 'cause it was broken and could cause an infection. Don't know what that is, but I don't want one. Mom said that if I was good, I might get a visit from the Tooth Fairy. I don't know who that is, but she made it sound like a good thing.

That's it for now. The meds are starting to kick in. Groovy!

Bubba, I don't think it's good for the young ones to hear you talken bout drugs that way.
Hope your feeling better MightyQuinn. You gonna take a picture so we could see how you look. I'll bet you will be the coolest looken dog here.

Ouch - that sounds like it hurts - maybe we should pull of Ya Ya's teeth - then he wouldn't be able to eat so much!

Hello Quinn, I hope you are feeling better. Personally, I think you are one handsome beagle! Pay no mind to Bubba, he gets carried away sometimes, but he is pretty harmless. He had alot rougher life than most of us before Elly found him and brought him home. Hope we get to know one and other better. Kisses to make you feel better, Maggy

Hi Quinn! Sorry to hear you got a broked toof. Did you bite something hard? Did the toof fairy come? Did it play with you? Did it smell good, like maybe something to eat?

Hello Mighty Quinn

How are you feeling today? My sister Bonnie had to have a back tooth pulled last year because she broke it trying to eat a raw chicken bone. She was okay the next day but I think she liked the drugs they gave her also. I have never had to have those drugs. A few years ago I was chasing a moth across the cement porch and hit my big pointy front tooth on the cement and chipped the point off. Mama rushed me to the vet thinking I would have to have it pulled and fortunately, she said it was okay because it did not go into the dentin, whatever that is. It was kinda sharp for a while but soon wore down. It never hurt but it was sure scary. No more moth chasing across the cement porch for me no way! Not breaking my pretty teeth for a dumb old moth!
