July 7th

One year ago today I adopted Delilah. This was the best thing I have ever done!

The day I got Delilah, I heard the sighs of her heart. I took the time to stop and listen. That is why she's here with me. Oh and by the way, I don't own her....She owns me!!!!

I found this on the Black Lab page and liked it.

" I can't do enough to make a difference for every dog in the world, But I can do all I know how to make a world of difference for my Delilah"

Delilah is a very lucky dog! The things you write about her demonstrate your love for each other. Yes, Labs always own us....and some are kind enough to let us believe we own them.
Life without a Lab is not living. (A series of Labs have owned me for the past 45 years!)

Joel, Congratulations for the best year of your life...both to you and Delilah. Some things just happen for a reason and the best gifts in life come in tiny packages......like a sweet, little Black Lab puppy that had a rough beginning and now has a very privledged life with her wonderful human. I'm sure that you have been thinking about all of the blessings and fun with Delilah.

Delilah is one lucky lab. I know I feel the same about our lab, Mazzy. She turned 10 years old on the 4th of July.
