New Kid in the House

Just wanted to share with you something. Mama has brought home a little teeny dog that is only about 2 pounds to my 14 pounds and Bonnie's 11 pounds. She works with animal rescue and at the local shelter/pound. Well, on the 2nd the animal officer picked up a stray pup in the street that had no ID and brought it to the shelter. It is a quit old and seems to have a bit of medical problems and can you believe no one has called to claim it or inquire about it. It is kinda nice pup but likes to hog mama lap and sleeps under the covers. She is nice and quiet and likes us. She likes riding in the car and mama said she must have had a good home but for some reason she was out and no one has tried to find her yet. Well she brought her home yesterday cuz she did not to leave her at the pound/shelter by her little self. She even has a coller on with a name cocochala and answers to that but no phone #. It is very sad that no one is trying to find her. Mama said that she is old and is a little unwell and will only eat cooked chicken. Someone may have decided they do now want to deal with her any longer. Mama said she can't stay with us but we will keep her 7 days and then she will be up for adoption. We would keep her but mama is not home enough for a pup she said. We pray she will find a good home or else her real owners will find her.
