Self stick paper or adhesive

I am looking for some self stick paper to line some shelves. I have books to trade, collectible cards, or some hand madeitem or buttons.

Oh I love buttons! My great Aunt use to make art out of them. I recall her sewing buttons to cloth to make a complete art work that look like the USA map.
