never had pet insurance...but i would suggest you check @ the vet's for info...they might have brochures/info etc of companies they have worked with before...another thought...buy a pet mag...like cat fancy...check out their ads...or check at petsmart...
the big thing with an aging pet...make sure there's no waiting period or pre existing
conditions clause...also what vets are approved for services...

Thanks, didi, I picked up some brochures @ my vets the last time I was in ... might go with ASPCA. But there is a waiting period of 12 months for pre-existing conditions so idk ... I think I'll see what his present problem is and go from there.
I had to have my 17 year old little dog put down. It cost $50.00 for everything.I visited the Vet every six months for $35.00 total (including medications while she needed it.)It was not outrageous, they did not do unneccesary tests; I stayed with a Vet that knew my dog, and me, and the staff was kind and grieved with me when my little one finally had to leave.
