I don't think you ever mend one completely. Once broken a heart is forever changed. You just learn to move on in time.
You don't dwell on it; you move along, and sooner or later it becomes mended. It may not be as good as it was, but it will be usable in many more ways. And just perhaps...something or someone will come along to restore it to its former beauty and vitality.
some people never get over a broken heart and others can go on but it puts scares on everyone.
The older you get the harder it is I never envisioned my self living alone at my age but I guess I'm not the only one
after it happens a few times you have trust issues and it takes a lot to get by them the last one was the hardest it's been 3 yrs, at last now I sleep all nite

My heart has been broken, and yes, you get over it. But it takes time. It also hardens the heart so it is more difficult to let yourself go and love again. This is the part I see as the most difficult. Time will heal the heart, but it up to you to allow yourself to trust again. But remember, it is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all........Moto
Loved and lost hurts much more.
Wonder who said it was better.
Lost nullifies all the love
Chocolate helps -
It contains something similar to what the body produces when in love.
Helps the withdrawal.
Alcohol - never.
Just makes it worse.
Get a puppy (Labrador is the most intelligent)
Talk to him, he will understand.
