I'm Robin(ita). I was so thrilled to find this group! I was beginning to think I wouldn't find a book group.I am not a writer,not that talented. I just have a great love of books. I must tell more people of this group! I'm so thrilled to be here!

Hi to all of my fellow book lovers. I've ...
Hi to all of my fellow book lovers. I've been a member of Eons for several months, now, although I don't visit as often as I might like. Life is full of interruptions and delays with adult children, one still at home finishing high school, and other demands on my time.

But, I love this idea of a place to discuss books. I'm not an author, but my daughter is, and her first 3 books release this year. I'm so proud of her! She just got married last year and moved 2000 miles away to Colorado, so I don't get to see her much anymore. But, she's worked long and hard to see this dream come true, and I do everything I can to help spread the word about her books.

She emailed me recently to tell me she received her first batch of reader feedback from her publisher and every single one of the responders circled the 50+ age bracket on the form. :) Of course, she writes sweet romances set in historical time periods. The younger generation want more than that.

Both my significant other and I are active and avid readers (actually the man in my life reads like 3 at a time) -- We're always looking for exciting new authors - and poets. My signficant loves the beat poets and turns toward the more ethereal type poetry -- I love gritty mysteries, great stories (like The Big Fisherman) and creative story lines.
