Good Old Days?

Seem to keep hearing this...something to do with becoming an oldie.

Were they better for you or are you happy with the here and now?

Despite everything, I am pretty happy with the here and now. I wouldn't want to relive any of my life.......well, except for that night with the guy in Puert.......never mind.

Except for advancing decrepitude, I live in the here & now. My past is pretty colorful & definitely had its moments, but I'd rather have new adventures than reruns.

The great part of being OLD is the fact that being childish is widely acceptable. You can get by with ANYTHING!!!!! Whatever you can think up, just DO it, whatever you want to say, SAY it. The kids will just assign it to old age and forgive you quickly. You can have a ball and only you know you are as sane as ever and now doing everything you ever wanted to do without repercussion. Go forth, and enjoy the day.

The good thing about the old days is that they are gone. Now is the time to be.

I would not want to relive the Good Old Days, but have the most wonderful memories of growing up in a neighborhood where we all knew each other, and there were corner stores, and such rich interactions with our friends...and just a very cool time to be growing up...I feel so lucky. But I very much like the fact I am at a place in life where I can learn new things, and have the added benefit of experience to color any endeavor I wish to enjoy...so, I am still lucky.
