Belly fat covers and harms vital organs

view link

As we age, the fat accummulated in the belly covers more of our vital organ. Not only does it cover, but it begins to reach and strangle other vital organs.

A very healthy diet and food program is essential if belly fat continues to enlarge. Exercise, esp. in that area, is necessary.

Situps or squats will do something, but actually doing exercises on your knees and pulling in those muscles will be far more effective. If you can't get down on the floor, you can use a flat bed or even your own bed.

Deep breathing and pulling in those muscles is highly effective.

Drink some water before you start. Start at maybe 15 minutes. And drink more water when you finis. Continue more time on this every day.

Also walk, climb stairs. If you can get to a gym or health club, ask to be shown the machines good for belly fat.

From one Michigander to another

Hi:

I'm glad I found this MI group. I have lived in MI most of my life. I did retire and move to FL., three years ago.
I have just return from a visit there, to see my daughter Lisa and family. I stayed two months. I was born and raised in Owosso, MI. My daughter lives in Corunna, MI. They have a beautiful park there called McCurdy Park. Here is a picture of it. Chat some more later-Sal

Common Sence

My parents told me about Mr. Common Sense early in my life and told me I would do well to call on him when making decisions. It seems he was always around in my early years but less and less as time passed by until today I read his obituary. Please join me in a moment of silence in remembrance. For Common Sense had served us all so well for so many generations.

WHAT IF DR. SEUSS WROTE COMPUTER TECH MANUALS?

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
And the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
And the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort, Then
the socket packet pocket has an error to report!

If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash,
And the double-clicking icons put your window in the trash, And
your data is corrupted 'cause the index doesn't hash, Then your
situation's hopeless, and your system's gonna crash!

good-bye yogurt

I threw my yogurt down the disposal. Next my cottage cheese. It kills me to do this because it's been my morning mainstay.

I could put links here but just google yogurt & ovarian cancer.

Josette, you're the resident nutritionist... how does a woman get the calcium she needs for her bones if yogurt is off the table? Don't say 'moderation'... one study says as little as a cup a month can increase risk.
